This weeks game is on ABC, but to answer your question, I don't think so. I know, but it's usually a fun spot cause it's right on O street and they serve Al-key. The Theater is now called 'The Bourbon Theater.' Last I knew, they still show the games. Sometimes the Rococco will open to show the games, but I'm not sure if they do that anymore. Just google "Bourbon Theater, Lincoln, NE" find the phone number, and call 'em. That should give you a definitive answer.

He's a true freshman QB making his first start. They didnt "key" on him, dawg. Maybe in your fantasy world. Green played average today, but did throw a pick-six that got Baylor right back into the game. There was no leading on offense, unless 13 points against Baylor is leading an offense. Wow.. Green played average today. And we won...somehow. Yet, I don't see what your argument is....? Are you OBVIOUSLY calling-out Watson's play calling? Is Lee's talent somehow going unnoticed, or unappreciated? I guess if you're calling out Watson, my points are moot (because I agree with you, if that's the case)....but if you're not - you got allotta 'splainin' to do! I think that Green should play the rest of the season. Period. His redshirt season is gone, and he has proven that he can, at least, perform as well as Lee (which apparently means a touchdown/game). Green provided a spark, and that spark resulted in 20 points in the first half. I think that had Lee been in there, we would've scored a touchdown. It would've been 7-0. 300+ plays in the playbook...8 executed on the field - that's my new signature!

I feel like our playbook is from Tecmo Football. And when I say Tecmo Football, I mean Tecmo Football I. Four plays.

Our offensive playbook weighs 20 pounds (300+ plays)...yet we run the same 8 plays over, and over. Anyone remember OU last year? The defensive back that KNEW we were throwing a screen on the first play of the series, and he took it for a pick-6? Better get used to it! I don't want Watson fired - but for god's sake man....dumb it down a bit. That, or stop running the f'ing bubble screen every 7 offensive plays! That...or just comprise your playbook of 8 plays. One or the other. I feel like I'm taking crazy pills!

Oh, sorry you must have this message board confused with the fantasy message boards where everyone agrees with each other, never complains and there's always a happy ending. Wake up Dorothy, unless I'm completely naive what you've described is the actual purpose and idea of a message board. The point of a message board is to discuss football. Its hard to do that with all of your guys' spam all over. They offer nothing to the board but junk. Don't be ridiculous, there are plenty of other topics for you to read. Obviously the "start Green" topic is the most popular right now, but the best thing about this board is, you're more than welcome to start your own insightful topics any time you want, this just doesn't happen to be one. Ok, duders...maybe it's the spike in the number of trolls recently, but I question this. The guy's screenname is 2001 Miami Hurricanes??? Further, it is highly likely that if Cody Green is going to get any significant playing time, it will be after Zac Lee starts the game. Maybe I'm paranoid?

I have to say this, and don't take it as a knock on Iowa State....but.... ...losing, at home, to Iowa State is a major blow to our program. And, unlike Iowa State, there is a much greater importance placed upon our football program for the people of our state as a whole. We have no other college team, nor any pro teams. There really is no arguing that point. Congratulations on the win, there's no denying that ISU deserved to win that game. Unfortunately for Nebraska fans, losing to Iowa State at home (not to mention when you're 18-point favorites), in my opinion, is a huge red-flag. And that's not even counting our lack of offensive production against any team not belonging to the Sun Belt Conference. Yes, I know that all teams go through funks. But the difference between Nebraska fans and Iowa State fans is that we refuse to "accept" going through a funk. I'm rambling now, so I'll stop.

Oh it's very possible. I don't know if Green is actually worse but as the poster above noted it could be like people calling for Dailey when Lord was stinking it up. As soon as Dailey got the starting job people wished Lord was still around. Round and round we go. Remember, though, that Dailey was recruited as an option quarterback under Solich...couldn't really throw well. By the time Dailey finally got the nod, we were under the Callahan regime, and running the West Coast Offense. Either way, I don't think these two are viable comparisons. .

Yeah. Exactly. The coaches see these guys every day in practice. They know a bit more than we do. Plus I've never understood the conspiracy theories. Do you people honestly think that Bo (or Watson for that matter) are deliberately playing players who they think give us less of a shot to win games. Because if you think that I think your head should probably be examined. You don't think that Green should have had at least a series? We burned the kid's redshirt...why not give him one series and see what happens? P.S., it's a discussion board. If your theory holds true, we may as well just shut Huskerboard down...
