  1. I mean if a person just skips on finals alone that could make you fail all your classes. Maybe that is what happened and he had some personal issues the last few weeks. If it's like the rumor and he basically just didn't attend any classes all semester... that isn't just dumb for him but a kick to the crotches of his team and the program and even the fans
  2. I think also you are more likely to retain someone from that radius than kids from cali or Texas
  3. Maybe Bo actually left on good terms and the whole thing is a charade, we are paying him to coach the penguins AND try to steal recruits from OSU. Lmao
  4. Sorry, but you're full of sh#t. He visited here, and chose Louisville well before Bobo was fired. Bobo and Timmy Beck had Kevin Dillman as their QB, who struggled at the JV level in Texas as a senior, and ended up signing with North Texas as a TE. You want to get some people riled up, let's talk about Bobo and Timmy never offering NU legacy Joe Burrow, who will likely be tOSU's starting QB next year. Beck helped Burrow land at OSU but I doubt he starts next year unless he beats out JT Barrett. Burrow will be fighting for the starting job in 2018 with Haskins and Martell. IIRC he decommitted or almost decommitted when Beck was hired, and Urban went and ensured he would stay. I could swear that this was the case. You are right, he was committed before Herman left OSU. Beck and Meyer met with him after Beck was hired and Burrow reaffirmed his commitment to OSU. Either way I don't see him starting next year unless someone in front of him gets hurt. probably would have started here this year, lmao

  6. Michigan and penn state have pretty big advantages over us, too. We should be able to hit the fourth spot consistently though.
  7. Going from 5 and 7 to 9 and 3 is meaningless. There was no viable excuse for 5 and 7 last year. None. This program is still behind where they were in 2014. Nowhere did I suggest 5-7 was acceptable. And how exactly is this program behind where it was in 2014? In 2014 we finished 9-3 with one of the best RB's in school history. We dropped a close road game to Sparty, got embarassed by Wisconsin and lost a headscratcher to Minnesota. I would say we are exactly on par with 2014. The amount of embarrassing losses the last 2 years disagree with you.Compared to the 15 or so embarassing losses the 7 years prior and 0 signs of improvement? Not excusing the embarrassing losses from the previous regime but the OSU and Iowa losses from this year and the Purdue and Illinois losses from last year were among the most embarrassing in school history. As are 2008 Mizzou, 2008 OU, 2009 Iowa State, 2010 Texas, 2010 A&M, 2010 Washington, 2011 Wisconsin, 2011 Michigan, 2012 tOSU, 2012 Wisconsin, 2013 UCLA, 2013 MSU, 2013 Iowa, and 2014 Wisconsin. As bad as some of those losses were, they were not as embarrassing as the 4 I listed.not true at all100% true. But you are free to have an incorrect opinion.is the 2010 ATM game embarrassing because of coach behavior? That was a close game on the rode stolen by the refs
  8. that is such a terrible article. he has Harbaugh at 5...
  9. well one was the media so they are each going to pump their own guys some. The other was coaches so I guess just for some reason the big coaches didn't really like him?
  10. Yeah that makes the big 10 coaches selections seem pretty sketchy.
  11. Eh, I can laugh about it. On a serious note I don't think we really are "living in the past" anymore. We don't just expect to be better than anyone anymore, and the past 15 years fan expectations have really gone down quite a lot, find myself thinking "just not a blowout plz." We might have been a bit deluded at the end of Solich's time, but that was a long time ago now
  12. you know, it sucks having to play teams in bowl games with home field advantage all of the time. But I was also thinking, wouldn't it be kind of lame for the players? Husker players always get to go somewhere away from Lincoln and usually somewhere warm, and they usually get to do at least a little bit of sight seeing. But if you are a Vol player, is this exciting at all?
  13. do you think it affected players such that they feel more or less gun shy now?
  14. It felt like to me we hardly saw anything new after about the Oregon or northwestern. Everything was on film for the rest of the opponents and we seemed unable to come up with any new wrinkles
  15. i disagree that this is happening. Most are saying that this season was bad and games like the Iowa game are unacceptable here
  16. I wonder if Eichorst regrets "losing" the bits of broken chair trophy now that it is the only one we have?
  17. Wisconsin is now behind Minnesota. Did our players/coaches tank on purpose because they didn't want to be in the champ game? Lol
  18. Well, okay CM, let's take a look at this quarter by quarter then, and we'll see what's been twisted or not. Prior to 8:45 to go in the 3rd quarter, it was 24-7 Iowa. They had 240 yards of offense, we had 96 yards offense. So please tell me how they weren't kicking our ass in that game until we came back. I'm all ears. Point is, it's amusing how you twist a win into somehow being as bad as a 40-10 loss. And wait a tick... I thought people always whine that the ex staff couldn't adjust and make comebacks? iirc that game was basically won by Pierson el
  19. If that game bored you, you've got serious issues. Nebraska hasn't been involved in a game like that since the 90's. I feel dirty but that was a more enjoyable viewing experience than any game the Huskers have been involved with in over 15 years. i would say 2001 ou vs. nu
  20. To many yolo bombs from Tommy today. Even the announcers commented on it several times. Once, Westercatch was standing there wide open and Tommy went for the home run.i mean at some point it is on the coaching staff
  21. there were a number of coaches that all seemed better than Riley. Riley has said all the right things and show. Just enough to keep himself around, but many of the names, names that never even got a phone call even though there was interest might have been better.
  22. Less talent, all the other stuff sure. Still not a better program. We would have to be mediocre for more than 15 years for these programs to level out
  23. this is a game that if it turned it to. Blow out should have been one in the other direction
  24. Strangely after the second half of the season I'm more frustrated with langsdorf than banker. Even though Iowa shouldn't have had that many yards against us idk it just feels like we didn't add a single play since the Oregon game
