  1. usc is usc, lots of california kids wish to play there, regardless of their problems.....hollywood, the beach, what do you expect
  2. i don,t get my hopes up on this guy, i think he baseball gone.....better think about jamel.
  3. the program is improving, i just have thoughts that we are 2 or 3 yrs away from being what i would like to see ..
  4. nu is 3.5 pt favorite in this one against the huskies, don,t care, will take the home team.
  5. i hope nu wins,,,,,but i got to favor washington in this one.
  6. i love nu,,,,,but my assessment is- they can be beaten....
  7. i got to think it will be lee that starts.....when the hecvk did a redshirt freshman start for nu,,,,,,
  8. You're probably right, but there shouldn't be any upset people here. The guy who starts is going to be the guy who impressed the coaches the most in practice. If that's Lee or Green or Martinez or Kellogg or Washington or Carnes, what's the difference? The people who are going to be upset about whichever quarterback starts are the people whose posts I'm most likely to ignore while reading threads. Just because you put a Husker t-shirt on your back doesn't mean you know what you're talking about. I don't know Knapp. Coaches can make wrong decisions, too. It could be the QB that most impresses the coaches, but it could also be a bad decision that the coach will have to answer for. You can go back to Bill Callahan choosing Sam Keller - who won the job, but didn't have the team. That was a part of his downfall. Back then, if someone wasn't happy with the decision, would they have been ignored? Probably, and so were people not happy with Bill Callahan (at least until the USC game and afterwards)... I love Bo, but he's not faultless or anything. There's room for criticism of his decisions. Message boards tend to have a "if you're a fan, you must agree with the HC always" mentality. For me, I think I'll be pretty skeptical of Bo's decision if he really goes with Martinez...and I'll have to wait for Martinez to prove me wrong. I could well be wrong, but I tend to stick by players I root for and I'm very much in Zac's corner. is getting a little insane why watson does not name the qb,,,,my god, ,,,3 or 4 days till game day, and he still will not name him...they have the guy picked out, bo stated that .....why the hush????
  9. the coach said in the interview the other day no starter was yet choosen , but it has become a bit more clear....so someone is starting to rise above the crowd
  10. so nu,s horrible offense of 2009 has done a 360.......would be shocked if they did.
  11. That's the fruitiest name for an offense I've ever heard 3 qb,s,,,and even....that is hard to believe ....i believe they know who is going to start,,,just will not say it.....got to be one of the 3 that is a bit subpar I like it.
  12. Kavario Middleton Plans to Transfer to Nebraska ,what a catch ...believe he was a 5 star, prep all american. ....only bad thing, he has character issues, and seems like penili has a low tollerance for his type...if he does trun his attitude around, tight end would be loaded. he would have to sit out a yr, and be available for 2 yrs after. http://bigrednetwork.com/archives/2010/08/kavario_middleton_plans_to_tra.html
  13. sounds like no one had a grip on what bubba is going to do , baseball or football.....he is projected to go high in the draft, and that is bad for bo and company....when you start throughing millions at a kid, money talks....i still think a kid should not be drafted untill senior yr in college, but you don,t have to go to college, not a law. he might have thoughts on the nfl too , if hes that good.
  14. washington will be a very tough game , they have a nfl qb that is very good.....agree with above thread thread, snider at k-state equals dangerous
  15. put Andrew Rodriguez in there, he is a monster
  16. nu schedule will help them have a good yr, easy.....i still think that nu will loose 2 gamers in 2010, offense is not a proven machine
  17. the big 10 sucks, and i feel nebraska is out of place there. never liked the big 10 and never will.....
  18. after 6 games we know where we stand... i believe nu will loose 2 games, and if they have a great year, loose 1 game.....their offense has to prove something to me first,,,though lee could be better and prove me wrong...the schedule is hugely in nu,s favor. ranking at 11 is realistic to me, not number 1.
  19. as far as i know...osborn hardly ever had a top 10 recruiting team and had done very well...look at notre dame , allmost everyyear in the top 10,,,,but not too good.
  20. texas...and nu will loose that one....nu is not on their level, as husker fans hope.....if nu has a good year..they will loose 2 games..bad year if they loose 3.....that is the way i see it,,,nu,s offense has to prove me something before i change my mind.. TEXAS TEXAS AM MISSOURI washington okalhoma state KANSAS STATE kansas iowa state south dakota state idaho COLORADO western kentucky revised july 26, my picks were not correct
  21. Typical for them. If they dont get him, they "didnt want him." Hows that for a Big Ten team to land 3 of the Texas top 25? Haha, EZ-E you seem a little annoyed with the notion that big ten teams cant recruit texas. But yeah, good point it would be funny. I hate Texas more than any other team. I think that we were cheated at the CCG. I have sounded like a broken record at times about this issue. Those results that we are getting from the state of Texas speak for themselves. i don,t like texas that much,,though i have other teams i hate worse,,,,,but that play could have gone either way at the ccg game.....though many feel like you,,,,we were cheated.
  22. When? I thought he was a 3* Seriously?!?!?!? I dont ever remember Cotton as being one of top TE's in the country. I remember when he committed, everybody was like "who?, oh barneys kid." i agree, i remember when we recruited cotton, if it was not for coach cotton, he may not have been recruited by nu
  23. if nebraska,s defense keeps on track, it will do wonders,,,because national championships are based on defense. the schedule really helps nu to be ranked good, and probably thoughout the season...but realistically, i think around 11 or 10 th ranked would be possible....the offense is what is holding this team back
  24. i get the feeling after spending some exciting times at huskerboard, that some die-hard husker fans believe we have mr green in the safe. i am not too sure about that. joining the big 10 does have an effect on this young man, being that the huskers play 0 games in texas after this season. texas has a lot going for it with green, 1 hour drive from san antonio, a great school , and a super recruiter in brown, one of the best it would be nice to add mr green to the husker roster, easily on of the top running backs in the nation. a speedster at 4.4 40, and very strong so when its comes down to it,,,these are the odds in my book- 50/50 that we get him
