I had a Grade two tear on my right knee my senior year in high school, and I was out for about four weeks. I had physical therapy, and wore a brace. I played Basketball after therapy when cleared by doc. I lost a lot in my cutting and quickness mostly because of the brace and not being used to it.

Yes I agree. Miles is a coach that we need to keep happy, and do whatever to keep him here! He was absolutely the perfect hire for this program and has proved A lot in the first years here. This kid is young but I have complete faith in Miles and his staff. A Chicago Pipeline would be Awesome!

I just have to say to Knapp that; it would literally take me all damn day to type all of that.

The thing is I think when we have the right combination in the game on the oline we can be predictable in the run game and it doesn't matter. And that right combination doesn't have half of the starting oline in the game. Now passing the ball is a little different you have to change it up a bit with our QB and pass pro to make it work IMO.

I have no idea why I'm optimistic - but for some reason I think TA will click soon. I can't argue w/ the lack of coaching though - you know full well where I stand on that. I think Tommy could be great w/ the right coaching, right offense, etc. As it is, I think he can still be pretty dang good though. I thought Martinez could have been a lot better too. He had 4 years, and he wasn't much better in his last than he was the first half of his first. There was no "transformation" - just a slight jump each season that reverted back to old ways as much as it didn't. At the end of the day this is what we've got though, so I'm not going to harp on the kid and act like he's Joe Dailey running around out there. He's close. I think that about most of this team though. The talent appears to be there. Not as deep as it needs to be, there are still huge gaps between a few position groups, but with the right coaching the #1s could be good enough to play anyone in the nation close. (so with all that said,we just lack depth and coaching - no big deal right ) I like Tommy have no reason to think he is hurting this team right now. I know we're 8-1 but some of the problems and sloppy play will result in losses. But, I want to think that we play to our opponents level (it helps me feel better). The receivers and Tommy definitely aren't because he cant throw a good ball and who ever thinks it is doesn't watch very closely. They have to use this bye week to figure it out though.

I am saying he needs to stick to what we do good not what he thinks the defense will give us, because he doesn't know for sure what they will give us. Putting in some wrinkles in case of this or that is fine only if you cant run your offense as in they shut you down. I don't have a problem with him taking the blame because he should, I do have a problem with the fact that he keeps apologizing for the same stupid sh#t over and over again.

That's an entirely different subject. And, I was not saying he shouldn't take blame for his deficiencies, but doing and saying the same thing over and over again is insane, especially when it doesn't work!!

The one thing that I will never be able to understand is why we keep hearing over and over that "it's my fault I put to much on them" or "I changed and over thought them to much trying to take what they give us Blah Blah Blah". That is the thing that just kills me to hear after a dismal performance. Really for crying out loud you are an OC for a name brand D1 football team. I can see putting a few wrinkles in just in case they show us this or do what we all know their D will try to do and that is shut down Ameer and Tommy in the run game. But you don't start with that and you sure as hell don't rely on it all game. You use what got us to 8-1 you run Our offense and make them shut us down and when or if they do then you show them some wrinkles to think about. I just don't get changing what we are good at for this team or that team it just doesn't make sense.

WTH. Tommy may not be the best QB we have ever had YET, But acting like he sucks is ridiculous. I have zero problem with most of his play, but I wish we could put a microphone in his helmet to tell him he needs to hit Bell across the middle. The last game wasn't the only time he missed him while trying to force it to Westy. After that one play I came away thinking man do they have a problem with each other or what is going on. I have also seen some eye rolls from Bell after Tommy talks to him also after a bad play. Not sure what the deal is here.

I was kinda wondering that about Wilbon. And, that sounds great. I think that Bussey will be a special running back for us though. Newby on one particular carry made me more impressed with him than I had been. He has been pretty underwhelming in my eyes until I saw the TD run he had. He showed power and passion in that run something that I have been waiting to see from him.

Just to be clear. Even though he is a young man, probably naïve with naïve parents. It is still against the rules on his part along with Old Piss. Yes it is way worse for Old Piss, but saying Karma is a bitch doesn't mean your taking shots at the kid, but just stating the fact that sometimes when you do something bad it comes back to haunt you. This guy is a great athlete but a class act I kind of doubt it.

I think that I would like to see more series with passing and rushing together to mix it up more than just one or the other. Although when we are grinding the clock and being productive on the ground we need to use it as we have. I don't think Beck has done a bad job it just seems that way sometimes because he goes all pass or all run a lot of the times except third and long when rushing, which isn't fooling anybody.

I know it is not going to happen unless they trade up for him, but the Lions definitely like his size and athleticism at one D-end spot. I would like that a lot.

Jake Cotton Could be a great guard if he would just get out of his own way. He has a lot of mental lapses and it has cost this team quite a bit in terms of yardage and points. Anyway, I just cant see them sticking with the original starting Oline from this point forward unless they can prove they deserve to be there.

Holy cow he needs to move to Nebraska just to get some meat and potatoes in him. Seriously though he has some serious talent but needs to get bigger for sure.
