    OC Rumor...

Uhhh....I seriously doubt Bo or TO are impressed with SW. So the fact that they have both publicly supported Watson all year is what? A clever ruse? No its what smart football men do.. of course they are going to show support for watson and not point the finger or blame towards him
  2. I don't know what you saw with our offense that made you believe that it was moving better with green in the game but, Lee is the better passer and gives us the best chance to win. I don't know what your issue with Lee is but I checked your posts and 16 out of you current 29 posts have been used to bash Zac. It didn't move any better due to Lee's ability either... green was put in some bad situations due to false starts early in the game.. however green or lee's performance was far from spectacular..
  3. He might be a threat however last night he produced less than nothing. Neither qb produced anything
  4. Top 25 offense.. because that combination with our D would give us a huge advantage in the north and a strong shot at beating Texas
  5. I don't know about firing Watson.. he's just been too good everywhere else he has been. But his offensive strategy has just down right been terrible this year. Personally I think Bo should keep Watson at O.C. but that he needs to bring in somebody with an offensive mind to help run the offense. I think he has given Watson way to much control of the offense and another perspective to go along with his (Watsons) may be beneficial. There are a lot of teams going with a passing coordinator and a running coordinator on the offensive side of the ball.. I think Bo should strongly consider this because something on our O just isn't right.
  6. Completely agree with everything in this post... Also, we had way to many false starts and penalties early in the game that put us in terrible situations that also limited the play calling
  7. However to some people, Green's lack of anything good is all Lee's fault. No Lee just isn't a D-I qb.. sorry but the guys just doesn't have it kinda weird this was his only D-I scholarship offer Maybe. But compared to Green he's John Elway in his prime. Haha.. wow vince.. ur posts get more comical with each one I just don't see how your so high on Lee... I'm stuck down here in OU land and watch quite a bit of football with OU and Texas fans who simply just laugh at his timidness/inability in the pocket.. its clearly obvious if you are not blinded by the apparent bromance you have for him
  8. Agreed.. but we just haven't had much luck in the 2000's with our top notch qb's panning out.. Kurt Dukes, Harrison Beck to name a few. I definatly don't think the best thing for Green's development is to play him but he is our best option at qb... plan and simple and even though he may not be ready we got to let our best players play because we are contending for the north and hopefully he'll take some beatings this year and learn from them over the winter and spring and will benefit us next year... My opinion is that we need to let him develop this year and next and rely on our defense and find out if he's going to be the guy in the future... if not its a great recruiting tool that the position is wide open and there for the taking.
  9. Epoc.. you truly are a great piece of husker nation man.. that video and the work all of husker vision does makes the gameday experience at Nebraska truly unique and amazing! Your work is not only appreciated by the fans but helps tremendously in recruiting!! Keep up the good work!
  10. Yeah, i just think our biggest problem has something going on with coaching on the offensive side of the ball.. either their not teaching correctly or not instilling game-like situations in practice.. or both I would really like to see more of the power game that was featured last night... we actually stuck with it and although we didn't have great success in the beginning it did lead to some big plays for helu later in the game.. Also, off of that we need to use more playaction when the d isn't expecting it... Watson had maybe two times when he correctly called a play action.. I would love to see Green in there booting off of the play action with the ability to either tuck it and run or throwing..
  11. If we only get 3 on the possession the score is 6-3 throughout much of the game.. That changes alot of Bob Stoops decision to go for it on 4th down a couple of times. However, their kicker was pretty bad so who knows what would have happened.. but if he makes one its a completely different game without princes return
  12. I agree.. you gotta let Green play.. atleast with him in the game we have a threat from the qb in running the ball... neither are very good passers but it is almost comical watching Lee run the ball
  13. However to some people, Green's lack of anything good is all Lee's fault. No Lee just isn't a D-I qb.. sorry but the guys just doesn't have it kinda weird this was his only D-I scholarship offer
  14. My opinion is that you let green play and get him experience. Lee isn't the entire offensive problem but it sure doesn't help when his gameplan/play calling is the same as a true freshman (which he can't help).. Green got behind the eight ball a little bit in the first quarter because of the penalties and false starts.. he didn't play well but Lee is not elusive at all.. he gets any pressure on him in the pocket and he's going down Neither proved they deserve to be starting so they gotta keep it an open competition week to week until some one earns it in a GAME.. and not practice
  15. Yeah he's been known for being "injury prone" but he took a pretty nasty hit below the waste... but if anyone with info would be appreciated
  16. No, I believe it is .08. Maybe he doesn't own the car? So wait, anybody who is familiar with drinking laws, is he ok as far as the drinking aspect is concerned? .035 is below .08. He's gotta be good in that aspect. He will not receive a dui.. however still a possibility of a reckless driving citation. As far as suspensions go I would presume that this will fall to the unity council for violation of team rules.. the one I have heard is that they were not going to drink during the season.. (don't know if its true thats just a rule I have heard) however, it is loosely enforced unless someone ends up in trouble...
  17. yeah.. i really hope this isn't true not only for the rest of the season, and suh's future.. I would normally have a hard time believing this but for some reason most rumors that begin on here have ended up being true this year for some reason...
  18. I don't know what to think... maybe that after the Va tech and Missouri game we all had to big of expectations but I really think that our offensive play calling has became predictable... We had some solid runs from the ace formation running a zone.. i don't see why watson doesn't use that more often and play action off of it.. move the pocket with green and give him the run pass option. Also, where are the plays that he burned/ran all over us on when he was the oc at colorado?
  19. Oh yeah.. Crick is a stud and only a soph... hes got a great future ahead of him.. but i'm just really impressed with Henery.. i've always had the mindset kickers have it way to easy and are not really football players.. but this kid is a baller
  20. I agree with both posts... Our offense is terrible but we are missing a lot of our running game and real young on offense... The loss of Castille is really hurting our offense now
  21. I think you could make an argument for Suh.. but wow.. time and time again Henery saves us not only with his field goals(which he is pretty much automatic from inside 50) but his heady play.. That tackle he just made on that punt return was huge... not to many punters make that play
  22. He should defiantly be our get back coach... did u see him control Oregeon's RB Blount after he threw that punch... what a stud (frost)
  23. Typical Missery fan.. trying to hype back up their "rivalary" with Kansas
