  1. Good, because some of the questions you have posed are just retarded.. have fun in texas, they talk enough crap about us so honestly good luck, but seriously think before you post
  2. yeah... but they rolled to the left and so did the coverage.. they just caught us when tryon came back.. u could blame suh for not chargeing sooner then you could for the coverage
  3. Dude, Buzbilly, i really hope ur name is the older Mr. Green because ur posts r ridiculous, zac lee did not lose us the vtech game..Zac Lee is and will continue to be our qb, he is a stud, our entire team is to blame for the loss.. and the huskers do have a chance to make the bcs... if we can be tech on the 17th we will be able to play with and possibly pull one out against texas in the big XII championship.. all is not lost after tonite
  4. Wow... i can not believe i actually read this post, yet reply to it, if you know a thing about college football you do no change qbs after a single loss... r u crazy?? y is this even being brought up... i thought nebraska fans were the most intelligent in college football.. zac lee did all he could with the plays that were called, i didn't see maybe 4-5 mistakes left on the field... ZAC LEE IS OUR QB AND WE WILL SUCCEED WITH HIM!! tough loss that was heartbreaking but to place this on lee losing his job is just absolutely ridiculous!
  5. Just looking at next years schedule and it sets up very nice. I know thats way in the future and we need to focus on this years schedule.. but Texas and Ok St will be our biggest challenges and they will both be losing the starting qbs and be "rebuilding" But for now no.. not really a realistic shot this year
  6. I know this is getting to be an old topic but that is the essence of a message board.. simply put, dont read the link.. To try and help answer why a person would be given 5 chances most college football teams have different levels for broken rules.. so the first couple drug tests would more then likely fall to the unity council or seniors for discipline.. and be disciplined in house that we would never hear about Then after a certain point after repeated offenses (different to every team) it goes to the head coach to discipline. However, in this case 5 does seem extreme and that may be just a number that was added to the rumor. More likely if this was the case the number was must lower then 5.
  7. I wish they would have set captains.. helps to define the roles in my opinion.. however, even if they do change week to week, the true leaders in the locker room will step up no matter if they have the c on the chest or not
  8. haha.. yeah lets not bring up the cody thing again.. but i've heard the same rumors about Castille that he failed another drug test and had already been warned that another would result in dismissal
  9. Watching his highlights again made me think of 2 things. He reminded me of another white running back Danny Woodhead in the way he ran... Second, with Watson saying he'll get playing time somewhere on the field and him being able to throw the ball, Can we expect a little Wildcat from the Huskers this year?!?!? It gives me the goosebumps thinking what Watsons got in store for him!!
  10. Great list.. I really agree with the top 2.. probably the most electric Memorial has been, or atleast the games I have been to.
  11. Redshirts happen after your season not before. If you go your entire first season without seeing the field you are a redshirt, if you play a snap you are not. The decision isnt made prior to your season. Very good point.. that is how the college redshirting system works and I believe Bo would love nothing more then to not have to use him.. even though both him and Watson will say they are not thinking about it.. however that decision (redshirting) will not be made until after the season
  12. The only top 40 list this article should discuss its placement in the top 40 worst articles of all time. Must have needed to make a deadline on this one.
  13. Just moved to OKC.. looking for a good place to watch the games
  14. Our two best OL will be lining up against Suh. They got way better as the season went on last year and it showed in our running game. Over the final 7 games sharp was averaging 5 yrds a carry. Hawkinson is going to be a really good LT from what they are saying. Don't you guys have a pretty young OL this year? Let's say you hold KU to 35 again this year. With what you are missing on O how do you score more than that? Great points Jayhawker, but they don't want to hear that. They don't want to hear that even though Reesing was running for his life against them last year, he still threw for 304 yds and 3 TD's. So with that said, one can only assume that KU will score at least 35-40 points on Nebraska. How can Nebraska top that with a new QB and little experience at receiver? You can't run the ball everytime and expect to score 40 plus. You're not the Nebraska of the 90's. I wouldn't be so quick to assume you will score 35-40 points. Also, our running game will be featured and relied on more this year. Helu had around 150 yrds on the ground and 2 tds lasts year.... NU's D will be improved and the offensive game plan will be focused controlling the ball and chewing clock.. I'd hold off on just chalking up 40 pts
  15. DRAINO

    CFN??

Haha.. wow.. whatever CFN is smoking I want some... What a complete joke for predictions.. Missouri 10-2 and beating Texas.. LMFAO
  16. To add to the previous things mentioned.. wasn't Phillips the one who missed the block that ended Steven Young's career??
  17. Congrats to Grant. There for awhile I think Nebraska could have been classified as DE Univ
  18. Well for the sake of comedy I hope it's choice #2.. haha good post
  19. I am not a big fan of this either. I think that every team needs to have a set number of 2 or 3 guys that keep the rest in line and on pace towards the goals of the season. But I do like the aspect of guys developing leadership for the next season. I think a hybrid system with 3 set captains for the season and another spot as captain based on game to game would be successful for more voices to be heard and development of leaders.
  20. Lee's mechanics are so much better then Green's... very evident in them standing side by side throwing... I agree, Qb job is Lee's hands down as of now
  21. Thanks for the post... I agree with ya on the quote... Hopefully Ganz gets a chance to be a backup somewhere
  22. My guess is that they have a practice then the next day either watch film on the previous days practice or lift and run or do both... and then have a practice the following day and so on... So their practices would go every other day adding up to the same total which is 15 just spread out over a longer period of time.
  23. Very classless on Daniels part.... Beating us that bad at home and not having the class to let things be but have to make a comment like that.. he should really watch what he says if he hopes to stay in the heisman chase
  24. wow.. great post!! i think alot of that was represented in how the players played... i think that everyone knew Bo was coming to lincoln after the a&m game.. haha easy to say now.. but GBR!!
