You half to understand that when you ocme to a husker board your going to ge things like this. People are verry passionate about this football team. They are very upset about what last season did for us. And from what i understand if nebraska fans had there choice in 2003 it would of been bo anyways but we didnt have a choice. I think people are both right and wrong on this. In the end i was rootin for kU because (no offence) they were the underdog. NO one expected them to get far or do good because they dont generally do so well. They proved them selves to be a good football team last year and got an awsome chance to do things other teams can only dream of. Will it last, i dont know. Lord knows what the cards have in store for you guys. Remember a few years ago when ISU was starting to build up steam. They had some good QBs and that got the ball rolling on other catagories. But a couple years latter they were back to the same old ISU. Thats the way it goes i guess. Husker football is something different entirely. Lets face it when you think of nebraska a few things come to mind. Farming, the big platu rock, and husker football. Sorry but when i think of kansas i dont think college football. I think of bbq, basketball, chiefs. Its just not something that you guys are known for. Might not be something that would be backed buy alot of people. But nebraska doesnt have a pro football, or baseball team. They dont have alot of big citys with huge things to do. But they do have this football team and they are passionate about it. Your state does not back your college football program like nebraska does for its program, sorry but its true. And look at your fanbase. There are much much more husker fans nation wide the Kansas fans. Its just something different entirely and not being from the state or a fan of the team you dont understand that. You just see a bunch of people puttin the smack down, talkin big about this next season. Welll there excited about it, they want to show that were not a bunch of hacks. They want to see a coach prove what he can do. They want to see a team who playes for the team, state, fans. Thats why fans walked out last year, thats why they boooed. The team had no heart, no desire and no leadership. Thats different this year, and we are excited about it. So your asking is Kansas a one hit onder, maybe maybe not. So take last season and enjoy because you might get that opportunity again but then again you might not. Ben

Probally one of the funnier isu (burns) ive ever seen. Though i dont think its entirely true, i believe isu when it has good leadership as in good coach (McCarney), and a good quarterback are a formitable foe. They just need to get there acts together. Ticket sales are nice but the staff needs to worry about better prospects on the sidelines to pack the house. Have some more soldout games before you renevate the statium again. Ben

i love it when crouch knocks that player out of the way so he can get the touchdown. You definately dont see many QBs do that. Thats what we need. No sissy dives just show us that no matter what position you play you can put the hirt on. Ben

No sarcasm intended: The Nebraska defense can hardly NOT be better than last year, since it was almost the worst in the country. It was astounding the number of points allowed. Any improvement at all and they're at least SOMEWHAT better. You know husker fans makeing fun of husker defence is one thing but a mizzu fan taking jabs at it seems alittle wrong . But needless to say you are right. We can only go up from here

Not to downplay WM but i dont see them winning. In fact i see us up buy at least 2 Tds. With last season fresh on our minds, a packed memorial stadium and the pride of husker nation. I say there gonna cream them. Buy half time itll be out of hand and after that a whole year of frustration taken out on poor WM. Im sorry i dont see this one as a close one. When i think of a blowout game this year texas tech doesnt come to mind. I mean missouri, oklahoma, even kansas come before texas tech in my book. Didnt iowa state almost beat them last year. When people on here talk about predictions they say but i fear the texas tech game its gonna be a whoopin and frankly i just dont see it. But then again im probally wrong and im sure someone will straighten me out.

What i thought was kinda sad that Nebraska, Notre Dame, And Michigan were all in the same area. 3 powerhouse teams ranked in the upper 40s. Were all right up there with Iowa State.

It never ceses to amaze me how some people talk the talk. KU had a great run last year, but some would say an easy schedule. NU just plane blew the big one last year. Coaches fault, Lack Of Commitment whatever its done and over. This year is a new year. We are not the same Nebraska that you faced last year, im sorry were not. No one is drinking koolaid its just the way it is. No game is definate but our huskers are going to give it 110 percent and you can take that to the bank. Bring your game face to lincoln kids cuz its gonna be a school yard brawl. Nebraskas seeking revenge, Kansas is seeking to break the loseing streak. Its anyones game i guess well see you in lincoln.

Ok let me put it another way. Hold on this is where it gets good. Nebraska, Georgia, USC. go undefeated. Now USC and Georgia are in the top 5 and had good schedules but Nebraska had a cinderella story. Who gets the NC shot. Again not tryin to stir the kool aid ( ) just curious what they go to then. How close games were, schedule strength. Please understand as im trying to undestand how the bcs works. But then again most of us are also. Ben
