  1. Time to go 2010 Missouri on their asses. They were unbeaten, and had all the hype that day. Then Mr. Helu walked in and racked up over 300 yards on them...
  2. I still think Sims and Satterfield are mismatched. Sims is who he is, he's not going to magically transform into a different player any more than any other QB who's played for us in the last 20 years did. Can Satterfield adapt? If not, that should be a massive concern, because we're probably gonna be stuck with him for longer than Sims...
  3. Oh yeah, NBC Sports. I tend to forget that they exist.
  4. And way too much time thinking about numbers of younger players that you made up in your head.
  5. Do you spend a lot of time on other teams' boards?
  6. Damn, that's pathetic. Declaring victory because 'only' 40% of the crowd will be Husker fans.
  7. Exactly. I've shared my concerns about Sims, and especially about the WRs, but even then I still think a lot of people are overreacting based on a single game. Especially since it was game one with a new staff, and Minnesota was probably one of the toughest defenses we'll see this year.
  8. Or because they're not as prone to emotional overreactions...
  9. @gossamorharpy Some of these takes I've read make me wonder if some people think it's 2019 and Gary Patterson is still coaching TCU's defense...
  10. LMAO, what kind of moron thinks TCU has the best secondary in the Big 12??? They barely cracked the top 100 in pass defense last year! TCU's defense is just godawful, it's an utter miracle that they got to the championship last year despite such a terrible defense.
  11. Here's a stat for you: Colorado had zero sacks & TFLs against TCU. On the other hand, TCU had four sacks and seven TFLs. And I'm starting to feel like this may be the key to the game for us - can we get pressure on Sanders? I think our secondary is pretty good, but we still need something to keep their speed in check. We had trouble with that against Minnesota, but I don't think Colorado's O-line is as good as Minnesota's.
  12. Meanwhile, Minnesota had one of the top defenses in the country last year - #4 scoring and #9 total defense. We may not face another defense that's a whole lot better this year. Like I was saying in the other thread, I'm wary of trying to compare us to Colorado after one just game because our games were against such completely different opponents. We might as well be arguing over who would win in a Minnesota vs TCU game, lol.
  13. I'd like to see one where the pass is in the right spot so the receiver doesn't have to do a spin move before he can start running upfield. Think Sims threw one to Rahmir that left him spinning.
  14. What's been on my mind is that in our game, both teams' offenses struggled and the defenses dominated, while in Colorado's game it was the defenses that struggled against the offenses. It feels like it's hard to draw conclusions about how the teams will fare against each other when there's only one game each on their records - the games were so different that it feels like an apples-to-oranges comparison...
  15. The AI apparently can't distinguish between corn and wheat...
  16. "I’ve seen people tweeting that a couple other schools could do this if they wanted to. Well do it then!"
