  1. Funny how some seem to think that the Big 12 is totally stable now. Watch what happens over the next few years as the current media rights contracts end...
  2. @The Murphinator To expand slightly: https://www.si.com/college/nebraska/football/is-ed-stewart-nebraskas-pick-for-athletic-director
  3. Frost was only like four games into the 2017 season when Moos was hired. Frost was a contender for the job at that point, but hardly the slam dunk hire who just had an undefeated season that he would be by the time we hired him.
  4. Ehh, this leaves out some important details. In particular, how many of them became starters? Being G5 starter, or even FCS, is generally better than riding the pine at a P5 school with no clear path to becoming a starter. I mean sure, some kids will walk on at their favorite P5 school rather than taking a lower division scholly, but that's generally more of a 'heart' decision than 'head', at least from athletics standpoint.
  5. "Apparently, this was the best time." Sounds like "Apparently the university felt it was time for me to 'retire'" to me.
  6. If he wants the job then sure, but I don't see that happening...
  7. As of now, I'd say Pollard is the one to put money on. His name was brought up last time around, and he already has a daughter at UNL. Article from back before Moos was hired: https://www.desmoinesregister.com/story/sports/college/iowa-state/randy-peterson/2017/09/22/nebraska-huskers-athletics-director-replacement-iowa-state-cyclones-ad-jamie-pollard/692202001/
  8. There's been rumors that Moos likes to drink for pretty much as long as he has been here. What I saw made it sound like a 'violated the conditions of his probation with the university' sort of deal. Who knows...
  9. Seems to be some rumblings about a recent incident of him having a little too much to drink at the country club...
  10. Officially he's retiring, but previously he'd said he wanted to stay for his whole contract, which doesn't expire until the end of next year...
  11. Or Cook. Hopefully that's obvious, but you know.
  12. @BigRedBuster What about the other one, recorded in 2011 and released in 2013 (over a year before he was fired)? That one I would say fits the same description of "someone choosing to record that meeting, hold onto it and choose to weaponize it."
  13. @BigRedBuster So how does this compare to the leaked Bo recordings, to you?
  14. Ladies and gentlemen, your dumb semantics argument of the day!
  15. Supreme Court rejects NCAA limits on education-related compensation to student athletes https://finance.yahoo.com/news/supreme-court-rules-against-ncaa-student-athletes-144017123.html
  16. Transferring and taking transfers is not tampering, that's not what Frost was talking about. Tampering is when another school's coach reaches out to a player before they've entered the portal, which is still prohibited.
  17. Supposedly Frost was kinda bummed that Georgia offered, he wanted to be first.
  18. Hey kid, wanna be the second Raiola up there?
