  1. this list is all wrong. its 1. Suh 2. Suh 3. Suh 4. Suh 5. Suh 6. Henery 7. Henery 8. Henery 9. Henery 10. Because God hates the Buffs too
  2. i don't know what anyone has to complain about. at least you all get to see the games and occasionally go to them. i live in GA, in the army barracks, without cable cuz im poor, and my car is broken. i could dance for joy for a 9-5 season if i got to see the damn games. imagine having to experience every game through espn's crappy gamecast. yeah, it blows. anyone complaining can go pound sand
  3. munched in the stomach? that sounds naughty
  4. i don't see colorado as a rival. if we have a crappy season but colorado, we arent any happier. i just want to crush them every time we play them because their fans are dicks. i think rivalry is about respect, and i dont respect them at all. i dont see them as a threat to us. if we lose to them, its not because they were legitimately better than us, it was because we messed up and let them beat us, or beat ourselves.
  5. lol dang it. i wanted to make a comment about the only two things in texas, one of them being steers, but i cant. you sir are a gentleman, and its great to have a another team's classy fan on this board. welcome! im obviously rooting for nebraska but i hope this is an epic game between us. and remember, thats only a picture of his face, you dont know what his body looks like. here's an example....
  6. way to go purify. work hard and do well in games! make us proud! http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/news/story?id=4652190 CINCINNATI -- The Cincinnati Bengals have moved up first-year wide receiver Maurice Purify from the practice squad for Sunday's game at Pittsburgh. Receiver Chris Henry is out for the season with a broken left forearm. Henry, who had surgery on Monday, was hurt on his only catch in Sunday's 17-7 win over Baltimore. Purify, who played for Nebraska, was on the Bengals' practice squad last season. Also Friday, the Bengals placed eighth-year safety Roy Williams on injured reserve after he missed three of the last four games with a forearm injury.
  7. i think never skerd needs to change his name. come on man, youre 21, you need to stand up for whats right. guys like that are bullies and get away with it cuz noone will stand up to them. not only is he poorly representing us as cornhusker fans, but you and everyone else that didnt stand up to him and stop him from harassing those people represented us poorly. stand up to him yourself, call security, do something man. those OU people left the stadium having had a poor experience, which is unacceptable. im glad youre on here asking what you should have done differently so next time you can handle it properly. good luck next time, and GOOO BIIIG REEEEED!
  8. i heard he can cure cancer and lead us to peace in the middle east.....if its not obvious, i don't really care at this point. he has flashes of being a good/great qb, but is still extremely rough around the edges. dude needs a lot of work. if lee could rummage around his room or something and find his balls i think he would do better. either way, we are no bueno at the qb position this year. our receiving corps isnt making things any easier either
  9. i heard a rumor that elvis is coming back to planet earth just so he can coach our offensive line and is bringing back tupac to recruit for us
  10. im curious about something. i seem to recall everyone clamoring for cody green and when he finally went in, we said we should leave him in for the rest of the season to get him experience. he was in for like what, the first quarter and then we went with lee? what happened?
  11. lol dammit i was just getting ready to post this. i totally think we should play them, thatd be a pretty kickass game. i dont see why we wouldn't go for it. we'd get a lot of exposure and probably some air time for it
  12. im just throwing this out there cuz i havent heard it yet, but does anyone remember the 96 season when everyone hated scott frost? i mean, i still remember that joke " what do farmers and nebraska fans have in common? they both dont want frost on their fields". we thought he was the worst qb ever and were clamoring for TO to take him out. but TO stuck to his guns and look what happened. scott frost shaped up and we won the national championship next year. im not saying we'll win the NC next year or anything, but we need to have faith in what our coaches are telling us. yeah it sucks that we're losing. yeah i think zac lee sucks, but i trust in bo pelini. remember the signs we made against mich st? "bo knows". im gonna trust that he is leading us in the right direction. isnt that why we wanted him after cally got axed?
  13. my family has a saying, "it's not against the law unless you get caught". our motto at work (when in competitions against each other) is "if you're not cheating, you're not trying". lol, obviously these are a little tongue-in-cheek, but if you can get away with it (not injuring anyone obviously) then why not do it? if the ref's arent calling holds, then why wouldnt you do it? i can't blame the players on this one
  14. that really sucks to hear. game day in memorial stadium is a truly amazing experience. ive also got asthma (was severe asthma when i was younger) and im in the 75th Ranger Regiment (Army). ive found that staying in shape keeps it down and out of the way. talk to your doctor and see what he or she recommends. best of luck to you and your son
  15. lol ive never been to a nebraska game where i HAVENT lost my voice cuz im yelling my arse off anytime the opposing offense is on the field. i always get the people around me to get in on it. never had anyone turn me down. lol hell i usually lose my voice watching the game on tv
  16. man, id have to root for colorado or miami
  17. which would you rather have, a million dollars or his head full of nickels?
  18. Hey guys, thought you might want an update on a former husker. I play football every sunday at 3pm at the millard south game field. Well after the game i noticed a guy kicking field goals that really knew what he was doing. Im a pretty fair punter so I stayed and practiced a little. After a bit, him and I were the only ones left. I was getting ready to leave when i noticed he was laying on his back so I went over to make sure the dude was ok. I'd feel bad if i left and that guy was having a heart attack. So anyway, we get to talking and i find out its Sandro DeAngelis of the Cornhuskers. He's been playing for the Calgary Stampede for the last 4 years. He said his wife just finished pharmacy school so they are going to be moving up to Calgary permanently. He's an awesome guy, very likeable. I asked him some questions about how someone would break into the CFL or NFL and he was very helpful.
  19. i went to skutt with that girl. her name is natalie reidman. had a speech class with her.
  20. thank you. I do owe an apology for misspelling former Head Coach Tom Osborne's name. i only hope my blatant heresy can be overlooked just this once. pretty please. with sugar on top Ok BUT NO SOUP FOR YOU! i really really really really really really really really really x INFINITY hate seinfeld. that was THE least funny show ever. i hate seinfeld more that cartman hates family guy
  21. His first season wasn't that great? He lost 2 games. Compare winning percentage as the starting QB to Frazier and you will soon realize that Frost's winning percentage is better than Frazier's. The reason people didn't like Frost had absolutely nothing to do with how he performed on the field. People were pi$$ed because he chose Stanford to play under Walsh rather than choosing NU to play for TO. When Walsh resigned at Stanford, Frost came back to Nebraska. It's basically the same philosophy as some here have towards Freeman at KState. He was a God until he chose KState. Now, he's just horrible. I'm sure we'll hear the same things about Gabbert as well now that he's going to Mizzou. my point is that we just came off two repeat NC's and were expecting, no wait, demanding a third. we were pissed (at least everyone i talked to)because we felt that scott frost sucked and we wanted to win dammit. winning percentage or not tommie won us two consecutive NC's (or helped to win), including tom OSBORNE's first NC. Then here comes along scott frost and we have two losses (im pretty sure it was two losses) and we dont get to the NC game, much less win it. then all i hear about for the first 10 posts or so is how much people love scott frost and think he's one of the greatest things invented since god came up with vagina.
  22. thank you. I do owe an apology for misspelling former Head Coach Tom Osborne's name. i only hope my blatant heresy can be overlooked just this once. pretty please. with sugar on top
  23. all these replies amuse me. was it 96 or 97 that was his first year? He wasnt doing so great(by tommie frazier standards) and everybody hated him. there were jokes going around like "Q: what do farmers and nebraska fans have in common? A: they both dont want Frost on their fields" And now everyone is like "we love this guy and he's one of my favorite cornhusker players!" only because Tom Osbourne stuck to his guns and kept him as the starting QB and we won a NC. People forget about the "bad" season he had his first year and how we treated him (myself included). I wonder if his memory is that short?
  24. here's another article http://www.omaha.com/index.php?u_page=1200...;u_sid=10207368
