Huge win and very happy for the team given how so many were writing off the season 4 games ago. Tim Mile's attempt at the, "Don't pee on his ear and tell him it's raining!" Not quite Tim but funny nonetheless. If we can win the ones we are supposed to and steal one here and there we might be in the drivers seat for a finish in the top 6 of the Big Ten. Given the strength of the conference that would be a great way to cap the season. Best not get ahead of ourselves and take care of Michigan on Saturday. Man I love Husker Basketball!!!

Hopefully we can get the W on Saturday and build some momentum going into some of the tougher teams on the schedule. We must remember we're still "The New Kids On The Block" in terms of Big 10 Basketball.

Yeah that is a pretty big stretch. We will be lucky to actually be Iowa's rival in basketball someday. We have a long ways to go.

So, you equate question the coach/being unhappy with the coach, as not supporting the team? Not so much the questioning of the coach, but the attitude a lot of fans have the like the team owes them something. This knee jerk reaction of talking about firing a coach every time we have a bad stretch gets old. That's all. Just go enjoy the games and don't be such a spoiled fan base if things aren't going our way. Look where that same type of attitude has the football team. Our fanbase is a joke.

Unfortunately it looks like this season will be a "wash" and we will just have to hope we can get some good recruits coming in and build a team that will have success long term. I'd say you have to wait until this year's freshman class is seniors before we can really give Tim Miles a "grade". In the meantime it would be nice if so-called Husker fans would just support the team and get rid of this entitled attitude like the team owes you something. Ever since PBA got built a lot of those type of fans that previously only followed football before are now "basketball fans". Take your entitled attitude and leave it in memorial stadium. Our "fanbase" can be so annoying at times.

Big surprise we lose and Husker "fans" are calling for coach's head. Don't forget he got us to the NCAA tourney just a few years ago. Yeah let's fire him. So dumb!

People gotta be patient. We will only really know how good of a coach Tim Miles is when these freshman are seniors. I think they have great potential but for the love of Pete can we get a good big man?

Why did Jacob Hammonds not see a single minute of playing time? I understand that Jacobsen is playing so much better but you'd think when Jacobsen got his 3rd foul maybe Hammonds would come in for nothing else than a few fouls to give and some size in the paint? Also putting McVeigh on their center seems like a really bad idea. Could be a long season.

I used to love watching Noah dance to the music during the games. He always was really into the game and quite entertaining. I also ran into him on the bike path one time and he was still wearing the hard hat. We miss seeing him at the games now.

What radio station is this going to be broadcast on? Is it going to be televised?

How about going under center a little more and actually developing a running game that leads to play action?

I will miss watching Cookie play next year. He always seemed to be the fireplug that we needed and his shooting was really starting to come around this year. I can understand the reason he left but will miss him next year.

Well I guess we'll have continue on with the Husker Bball them, "We'll have to wait until next year." I am getting tired of continually saying that. What happened to Harley this year? It seems like he underperformed greatly this year compared to last year. Was he just cleaning up on easy shots last year created by Maric being double teamed? His jumper really looked weak this year, wonder why the difference. Anyways looking forward to actually having a couple of big guys who can give us some minutes next year. Gotta feel for Ballum. He's a great player but can only do so much with his knee problems. Oh well Husker football is right around the corner!

Does anyone know if the Big 12 tourney games tomorrow will be covered on the radio? Unfortunately I am out of town on a work trip and was hoping it will be on ESPN radio. Since I'm in Pittsburgh I probably won't be that lucky. Maybe I'll just have to find a sports bar for an "extended lunch"

Horrible refs tonight!

Thanks for the info. I thought he looked really sharp against Chadron St. and then hadn't seen him in any other games. A medical redshirt might be a good way to go since it seems we are stacked with talent right now. Alonzo Edwards looked great last night.

Yeah where has Eushante Jones been. We were killing Alabama St. tonight and he didn't see any PT. We even played Nick Krenk for godsake!

What was the deal with Steve Harley last night. He played poorly in the first half and barely played in the second if any. Was he sick, injured, or just getting some rest?

You were right about the free-throws. We missed a lot of 1st shots on 2 shot attempts. (Harley did hit 2 clutch free throws to put it in OT). Maric was on fire, he had 32 points and around 15 boards (can't remember exact #). The refs really screwed us on a few calls and we got scorched by the 3 once again.
