WRONG! Zac Lee is a tremendous QB with exceptional mechanics, from what i'm hearing he still needs to learn the system... Lee will be the back up, and you were right about Witt being an average QB and you were half right about Green...who would be nice to get but i wouldn't mind getting Scheelhaase over Green.

Keep in mind that Bo Pelini is inheriting a team that went 5-7 mainly due to horrible defense BC inherited a team that was 10-3 top 10 in D nationally and he went 5-6 the next year lets just say that BP goes 10-2 regular season....what does that tell me? Coaching bar none....thats all it was and is. Nebraska has the talent, i've been reading alot of article that support that. The fact of the matter is getting them to play FOR NEBRASKA with passion and all that. Anyone who really thinks that the talent level that was left when BC came is coo coo. Just look at the players they look so much more physical especially our DB's now. Would you take pat ricketts and put him on last years defense with no pass rush over Armando Murillo? highly doubtful.

I'm not buying this whole Berringer thing....sure he was a great QB and all that....but if it weren't for the tragic event that took his life.....would we be saying that he is the face of the program? NO probably not.

AMAZING athlete in terms of running track for just a sophmore. Saw him run the 300 IH at State Track this weekend. Ran a 38.8 =, by the time he's a senior he'll get the state record i would assume. My cousin's who was also running in that event had his mom talk to Stephon before the finals, and she said all he was concerned about is getting that record, so he's definitely a hard worker. Respectable kid from what my aunt said. not sure about football skills but....Coach O, recruited track athletes and developed them

I have seen this kid play and run track numerous times....very impressive on a state level. Under the old staff he wouldn't even sniff an offer, but I believe he has talent to work with....wouldn't be a early contributor. As for measurables -- this all approx. 5-9 , 165-170 , 4.5 I saw him run at State track this past weekend his 100 meter dash time was 11.1

um didn't Florida get beat by that one team that got beat by the D1-AA (FBS) Champions in Ann Arbor?

really though...that guy on the phone has absolutely no idea what Bo is bringin to Lincoln and the kind of product that he's gunna put on the field

Nice read, I think it has alot of valid points and the question that's coming to my head is this.... "Well, Why not?" I was thinking, because we already run some of that Zone Read out of the shotgun, all you have to do as a Coach/OC is just implement little bits of it at a time. Like you were saying Ganz will be fine but he's no VY or DD and the such. I do however think this kind of Offense would play right into Zach Lee's strengths in a year or 2. Your thoughts?
