What does USC have to do with anything? Talent is relative, to performance on the field. And relitive to who you recruit. Every one in our conference has talent! Just who has more is what we learn on the field, right? We could argue this tell the cows come home, but the bottom line is, can you win on game day? I could give a damn how much perceived talent we have! Do you think people said OU was loaded with talent in 01? Hell no, not until they won it all! Do we have talent OBVIOUSLY! And if we don't win the Big12 north it doesn't mean we lack talent. Just that we did not have quite as much as the other teams we played. Simple as that.

It's still a long, loooong season for these guys. Be interesting to see if they can pull a few conference wins out of their hats, but the schedule ahead doesn't bode well for them. With any luck they'll be 6-6

Yeah, I'm kind of surprised just how quickly they have fallen as well. My Raiders I wasn't surprised, but St. Louis has way more talent than they have shown lately. That's for sure!

I could care less what religion he is, or if he is religious at all. But lets not be afraid to openly discuss religion. As long as we aren't just trashing it out of spite, then whats the big deal? Besides if the guy was a Muslim, than I'm sure the tone would have been much worse!

What? it could be the spread option! Seriously though, if you can teach them the difference between a fly, curl, post, and drag route. Then all you need to do is mix them up between receivers in like three formations max. I highly doubt you will need anything as advanced as screens and draws, unless these are some savvy chicks!

90% of the kids recruited are over hyped! In the long run it's not about stars it's about playing with heart and desire. If star ratings where that accurate then USC would never allow a touchdown EVER. And we know that's not true, and that USC is beatable, and are every year. It's the coaching that keeps them on top, recruiting just helps you stay there. Callahan was great at coaching up his offense. But completly ignored the D to his peril. No amount of stars could have saved that sinking ship!

Yeah you can talk about speed all you want, but I imagine a player from today would crap the first time someone tried to fishhook him to keep him out of the endzone!

What has Ganz won? Or done? Besides beat a bad KSU team... Also, Hawkins beat Oklahoma... well, I wouldn't say that... he played quarterback while Colorado beat Oklahoma... My point was they've done nothing to put them above Ganz. Joe came out like gang busters, and hasn't slowed much. Just looking at skills alone, Ganz is better! In my own very, very biased opinion. Proud Ganz drinker!

Wierd is not the first word I'd like to hear coming out of practice. Not to worried, actually looking forward to a more physical game. Get our LB and especially the D-line some good work in during the bye week, and come out guns blazing next saturday night in PRIME TIME! Can't wait for this one, should be a classic!

I'm not talking about buying gold stocks. I mean you need to physically own gold. If the s%*@ really hits the fan, like Mad Max or Grapes of wrath. Then paper money, or worse paper stocks become toilet paper. And GOLD is never worthless! At least that's what my buddy Hobo Pete told me.

Had it been completly amicable you would have thought they'd give him some kind of farwell or send off of some kind. Not sure how it went down myself, not really an avid listener.
