I'll say this, if we finish the complete season (bowl game included) with 3 losses, I'll be satisfied. If it's 2, then look for us to be serious contenders next year for a BCS berth. If you look at the Top 10 you'll see why I don't see us making a BCS this year, regardless of our record. There is an exception...Texas. If we beat Texas, we might have a foot in the door. We'd have to beat them twice though.

I'm telling you, If Bowman and Fluellen are both in this game, the LBs hunker down on the run, play contain and Ola puts forth some extra effort on the line, the Huskers roll to a 40+ point victory... There is no accounting for excessive injuries to any positon, especially the secondary. What Honolulu said. If our LBs weren't performing double duty, which they are, our D would look totally different.

They must be that good, they figured out how to move the ball well against our D. Just something else for the team to take in and learn from.

I think you're right about letting down after the scoring explosion. It was like they thought they could waltz over KU for the rest of the game. I am sure they know now that they need to play 60 minutes of ball. I am beat too...

I am at a loss as to why we abandoned the running game and started passing more? I mean I am not complaining, but the run keeps the D honest. Besides, this is hurting Zac's average.
