  1. Relevant to this topic: Okstate veteran WR announced this morning he is transferring, leveraging the 4 game rule. Didn't feel like he was getting the ball enough.
  2. At this rate we are on schedule for 84—0 Who had the over?
  3. If you have seen the movie "drum line", alot of the band members in the movie are from Bethune-Cookman.
  4. Let Bethune-Cookman bring their band and show ours what a fun halftime show looks like
  5. Getting tired of these pressers, honestly. "we are this close" "we are trying so hard" "gotta get everyone to buy in" "we are trying too hard" Great, handle it in the locker room and show it on the field. It's like in the past 10 years there's been a secret "how to coach speak" class added to the football curriculum. Almost feels like by talking about it to the press the players are trying to convince themselves that's what's wrong and that's all it takes. Searching for answers.
  6. Wrigleyville. Then take the train to Evanston that you can walk to from Wrigleyville. Evanston tailgating scene is pretty lackluster and I believe there are two bars in town. It is an 11am game so tailgating may be your only option, however.
  7. Unless he's 100 percent, sit him. Bunch is capable.
  8. 11am just announced...not bad for a visiting team imo
  9. Someone can tell me if I'm wrong, but I thought that I had heard before that when it comes to some of these potential ligament tears, that wearing a brace/crutches isn't really going to do much because you can't really damage it much more. So unless he's in pain walking, there's not much use for them. Really just trying to tamper my hopes a bit in lieu of the news ending up worse than it looks.
  10. I probably should have looked at the schedule first. Should be a good time regardless. Taking over an opposing stadium is a blast.
  11. The side without the preesbox, or endzone. Will be all red I predict. That's how it was last time. Not sure if you're looking for much pregame action, and would also depend on the game time, but I would highly recommend just parking near wrigleyville. Last time the entire neighborhood was filled with huskers just barhopping. About an hour or two before gametime a massive army of red will hop on the train in Wrigley and it'll drop you off a 5 minute walk from the stadium. Not that I have tried, but I have heard the actual tailgating in Evanston is pretty lame. The town has 2 bars.
  12. Thanks I'll pass... Didn't tell you to get rid of your tickets, and I am not familiar with this line you speak of. Enjoy the rest of the season.
  13. Same. But it's not something that was controllable and I am at peace with that.
  14. If you're making "very real" budget decisions in regards to getting tickets, it may not be the wisest decision to keep getting them. If you are attending every game, the $57 face value of the ticket for one game is likely relatively small compared to everything else, are you expecting the University to pay for that as well? Sell your tickets? Sure you can. What does attending every game for 14 years have to do with making this not possible? The great thing is that it seems like you're a dedicated fan and shouldn't have much issue with attending the make up game, if scheduled.
  15. If you can afford season tickets and donation on top, I am not sure I would classify you as "hurting for money" and needing to make critical decisions to your overall budget. If this one game is truly such an impact to your bottom line, then maybe don't get tickets. This has happened once in 80 years. Or, sell your Colorado tickets and you'll recoup what you lost, plus some probably. I get to plan on going to one game a year, flew in, rentals cars, the whole bit. I don't plan on getting my money back. . It's unfortunate what happened. But it is what it is. And none of this matters if another game is a scheduled.
  16. Shouldn't we wait and see if there's another game added before we raise the pitchforks?
  17. Why? You're going to get a ticket to the makeup game if there is one. It also has printed no refunds on the tickets for quite some time.
  18. A LOT of people ranting on Twitter about ticket refunds. Get over it, it's on the ticket. And that's the risk you take if you purchase through a 3rd party.
  19. I am just gonna assume there will be a parade of SEC offers headed his way. Glad we got in early.
  20. https://www.ajc.com/sports/college/after-hard-fall-dedrick-mills-pledges-comeback/1yjWbrdf35Ql1vZHpYMJ0J/ Good background info. Had issues with Mary Jane at Tech.
  21. GT highlights show a guy who is not much flash, North-South, and enjoys contact. Also appears to have good balance. Not a guy I would want to be seeing in the 4th quarter if I was an opposing defense. Edit: high school film shows some LB, but assuming he is being taken as RB. After watching some more, this guy will make you think twice after trying to tackle him the first time.
  22. Nah, I'm in DFW. I've sadly parted ways with Neb plates. I originally thought that would be the case too, but with some of the animosity I have seen from CU fans on Twitter this week it wouldn't surprise me. It's almost like they take pride in it and feel they have to uphold the reputation. It doesn't help when their ex-coaches are still preaching the only thing that matters is beating Nebraska.
  23. I'd like to attend the game in Boulder next year, but am still trying to determine how much I need to budget for new tires and paint for after the game.
  24. They may have influence on decisions, but they aren't going to be at the head of the table. If the game can't be played til 7pm, that's when it will be played, TV or not. ESPN has enough networks they would figure it out.
