Yeah, if this was in the main football thread I'm sure a few folks would be saying some kind of horrible things aobut the kid. And we are all feeling good about the bowl win right now but in genreal I did expect this thread to get a little nasty (as did some others if you scroll up). Good luck to the kid at KU. I think the recruiting pressure these young kids get is probably more than they are ready for at this age. He apparently feels like he was told something other than what is happening? I'm a little curious about that but.....who knows what he was told and what he heard. Maybe he's got a young girly at home. I know I picked a college close to home bc/ my girl was a year younger than me and I wanted to be able to go home and get some.....I mean see my true love from time to time. Maybe he really did just feel KU was the right place for him.

I'm an admitted star gazer. Will Bell show up on this year's class on rivals? I know it doesn't matter so spare me the commentary. It's fun to watch.

A couple weeks ago in another thread I made a comment about how Ganz may be our most important player but he can throw a pick 6 with the best of them. Well......... That pitch was kind of a pick 6 and he almost threw another one.......and he still made some great plays to lead us to vistory. The kid has guts and leadership, mobility, and a better arm than people give him credit for... and once in a while makes some scary decisions with the ball.

Just to keep a thread full of husker on husker e-violence going....... I'm sure that in film sessions Niles will get a more stern evalution of his performance than he got here (except maybe the scholly pulling). Have you looked at any Clemson boards. They are KILLING their QB right now. ......and he did play a horrible game. He was so afraid of our d-line it was ridiculous.

Suh to play his senior year. (I'm still not convinced) I agree we need a special teams coach. Tougher offesnive line- they really looked kind of weak today. What I want most- the season to start. Despite the great bowl victory I am sad bc/ it will be forever until football starts.

Suh, Steinkuhler, Castille. I've watched the game 2x now and although it wasn't flashy Armando Murillo really played a great game. Check it out if you can. He really did.

The point is valid. He is paid towards the bottom of the Big 12 coaching salaries. He should not be "pissed" right now because he is a first year head coach but if he continues to build this program to a place of relevance then he will have to be paid more. It doesn't matter if we think $2 mill/ year is a lot to coach football. It matters what the market dictates. Many companies use a quality of life factor for the city they are located in when determining salaries. Sorry folks, but I doubt Lincoln scores real high there. Then again, Bo might not be a big city kind of guy.
