Did this thread get lost in cyber space during the Callahan years and just now appear on the board?

Is this because of grades or defections?

I keep hearing talk that some of our recruits won't qualify. I'm new to following recruiting. I'm guessing that happenes every year but it seems like a lot of our class is struggling in that area. Is this more that normal? We already lost 1 Texas DL. Others that I hear this about are Byrd, Norman, Washington. I thought somone even said Robinson? Also, prospect Ankrah? Does this seem high? Are we allowed to give the same # of scholly's every year? Or just what is free'd up by the graduating class?

I think he's had four pick-sixes this year. VaTech, Mizzou, Oklahoma, KState? I think he had one against CU last year and I think Kansas too. So..yeah, it seems like his INT's become pick 6's pretty often.........and I still think he was our most important offensive player for sure.

Everywhere you see "graduated" in these posts, replace that with "exhausted eligibility" and I think you'll be satisfied. Yeah, sorry. Maybe I was too optimistic about the players that have exhausted eligibility. and maybe being starting center is a little more thasn being a contributor.

According to the site I looked at there were only 18. I don't know? Maybe thats after decommits and whatnot.

I know this doesn't matter in the real world but do you think Rivals or Scout will ever rate this kid? I kind of like watching us climb the ranking with each recruit and he doesn't have any stars (at least last time I looked). Once again, I realize it doesn't mean anything....but it does to me.

When I was a freshman a kid moved to my hometown from Fremont. He was friends with Zach Weigert who ended up coming out and getting drunk with us a few times...... He was huge even then. Not quite what you were asking for but I was nevr too big on the jocko thing. more of a burner!

Setting up a series with Wyo is a great idea. It s always nice to play some neighboring non-confs- fun for the fans of both schools. I'd be into CSU and Utah as well. I'm just bummed they didn't put one at Invesco!

Working at a University- you'd be surprised how fast they can push that stuff through. They could even wait until the first week of classes. I don't know if there are more admin concerns with athletics and the NCAA but I'm guessing that the athletic dept could get all of the admin handled even faster for a star recruit than for a "normal" student.

I guess when I see no rankings and only offers from Idaho State amnd SMU I start to wonder whats up. Since I'm new to following recruiting is this just a case of the services, other schools missing someone? Most of the recruiting rankings are based on Junior year I take it?

C'mon guys......I just woke up, got some coffee, came to se if we had any new commits today and in 2 different threads people are fighting with father5. Some people are never gonna forgive you for what you said about Vondrae. I don't know the kid but it didn't seem particularly bad. If what other posted was true then it sounds like the kid has some issues. But....how do you end up in so many message board arguements? And why is the Oku thread still alive? He isn't coming here! And why do I keep reading it....wait maybe this is my own damn fault!
