  1. I had my scarf hanging on my neck cuz I ran out to my car real fast and it was cold as balls!!
  2. Was it the same scarf you posted in ur Colorado pics? yeah.
  3. Hey guys, just started my new job monday (in oklahoma)...well today I'm in the break room and an OU fan/co-worker noticed my husker scarf. Of course, he began giving me a hard time, then we started talking a little football, then he left... So, now I am sitting down when a girl comes up to me and says she likes my scarf..I was scanning her face for any indication of sarcasm, then i ask "you're a husker fan?" and she told me how her husband was a huge fan, so she was a huge fan too..So, at this point I was pretty stoked to be working with another fan I could talk husker football with, when she showed me another guy in the break room that was a husker fan. So, for the rest of the break we talked about my trip to lincoln for the colorado game, "the kick", colorado fans, the bowl game, cody green..that seems to be a great sign that this job is going to turn out great! There are now 3 husker fans in the office representing, keeping gbr strong in OK! Go Big Red -The MF'r **edit: had scarf on in break room because I went out to my car and it was cold as balls
  4. We have girls on this board?....i thought this was huskerboard/HE-MAN-woman-haters-club.com...
  5. The difference is that Iowa is garbage. Stoops would go from a title contender to trying to build another program back up. If Pelini bolted, he would know what he is getting at Ohio State. But we are a long way from even having to worry about that anyways. while ohio st would be a huge step up, I seriously doubt OSU would be interested. they would want the saban/urban meyer/paul johnson level coach. Besides- Tressel isn't leaving. Since when is Paul Johnson on the same level as Urban Meyer, or Nick Saban?
  6. A little premature to start this thread, I would say...
  7. You sir, get the MF'r's post of the day award. It's very refreshing to hear a Mizzou fan express some humility, instead of saying "52-17". You're a good fan, and a knowledgible fan...nice to hear your opinion! Good luck in the Alamo!
  8. If Jarvis doesnt want to come to NU after the CU game, and experiencing that atmosphere, then i dont know what would make him a husker. If he wants to go be a part of a mediocre SCU program, then who cares? Its gunna be on him...the future is still bright for us whether or not we land this kid. Guess we'll find out tuesday though..
  9. I feel like im in geometry....there is a bunch of people talking and i dont know wtf is going on... Damn HIG....
  10. I would just advise that you guys DO NOT throw the ball at #5, Anthony West, he is a beast and is known to pick six a ball or two...just dont throw at him.. Anyway, as for your guys' 6'5" wideout...out secondary has been improving all year...I look for Asante to play a complete game, of course, this could be wishful thinking.. CU Run Game- I know you guys have 2 good backs, as I use them (well) on ncaa 09, but I think they are going to have a real difficult time finding room to run. Suh, Potter, Steinkuhler, and, even, Allen have been solid...I look for us to stuff the run and give your QB fits. NU O vs CU D- I look for our O to have a lot of success..we have a very balanced O, and we're primarily a ball control offense (as we lead the nation in T.O.P.), but we can break the big play...it really just depends on how conservative watson plays the game. Roy Helu had 157 yards rushing on a very talented OU squad, so your argument that we havent seen a D as talented, or athletic as Clemson's has been defeated.. I look for this to be a close game early, but I think we win by a few scores, with Ganz, Swift, and Helu having a big game The MF'r's prediction: Forty Suuuuuuuh (42)-27 NU
  11. Wow, looking back...JGS is looking like a real Mc A-hole now...
  12. Tommy resigned today...who can we steal?
  13. I have never heard of this kid, and just wondered if anyone has any clue? ....what are our chances, we can pull a sam keller with this kid?
  14. When he's at the first practice in the spring, then we won't worry. Many things can happen between now and then. The guy's word isn't enough?....okay...should be a very stressful offseason for you
  15. There you have it, all you worriers, and doubters...it will feel nice to get a full nights rest, eh?
  16. I think the "impossible is nothing" in scarlet would look sweet!
  17. those are good...i am still undecided for which one is going to be my background..damn you guys and your sweet skills
  18. Wow, whoever said that is a real tool..maybe I can loan him my copy of the 97 orange bowl to prove him otherwise..
  19. I completely agree....i still get chill thinking about "the kick"...you should post this in AV and have one of them make an impossible is nothing poster, that would be sweet
  20. Okay, I'm a bit younger than you guys, having graduated in 2008, but I played with current OSU wide receiver, Bo Bowling...he's #7. I got to play 2 games against him, my frosh year and soph year...during my soph year, I picked him off and blocked one of his punts...of course he pick 6'd me and returned a kick for a td, a punt and scored in just about every way imaginable...maybe even scored on our coach's wife...
  21. I'm pretty sure we are the visiting team, so, I'm really wanting to see the all whites...your thoughts?
