Forgive me if I'm missing something obvious, but doesn't this mean we're not there yet, but close? Not in my mind, I still say we are already there. We had a stumbling block with the offense, that wont be happening this year(I hope). I say we're back already, just have a little fix here and there. I voted with the current whole vote out of Alaska. I believe we are back as of this year. We're coming into form with our defense and if our Offense wakes up, we'll be dangerous. Pelini wont let us go backwards anymore.

Agreed. When do all these rebuilding years pay off? Next year Kind of reminds me of the Royals. Next year is always supposed to be their year but it never is. Same old 100 or 90 loss season. Always have to wait another year. Or the Cubs. Next Year is their year, oh wait, the year after. It's a sad sad cycle. As for the bb team, we need Jerry Tarkanian to come out of retirement and help them. The team is gradually self destructing this year and i'd be amazed to see them win another game the rest of the season.

Well according to the latest article about it, Delaney has made zero contact with any teams about a potential Conference switch. They have not contacted Missou, Pitt, Texass, or anyone and said that all of the rumors are just that. I wish Texas luck if they want to go. We were a power conference before they stunk up the Big 12 and we'll be one after the cow patty's are gone. If we had a Conf. President who had any balls what so ever we'd not be having this discussion. Beebe is by far the largest puss in the world and cowers to everything Texas wants, until we get one in that can move us forward rather than giving only TX what they want, we'll be stuck with small TV deals. Once the Big 12 gets the media they deserve, the recruits will reflect on every team in the conference and more teams will be able to afford the stadium remodels etc for their teams. This also smells like Texas wanting a little something to wave over Beebe's head just in case he ever thought of growing a pair. They don't want him looking at whats best for the Big 12, only whats in Texas's best interest. "you better watch out, we'll go to the Big 10 if you make us angry" Just my opinion of course.

Would that conference then be called SWC? Do you see in the future Oklahoma, Oklahoma State, Missou, Kansas, Kansas State, Nebraska, Colorado and Iowa State forming a conference and calling it The Big Eight? This is exactly what I thought when I read the post.

One could only hope. I've always wondered about the guy, week in and week out he never checked his facts and just threw together too many half assed articles. Mine has to be the White flag with the Big Red N logo. My grandfather gave me that flag the day after my grandmother died because she knew the eldest grandson would fly that flag until it couldn't fly anymore. It still sits in my living room in a case posted proudly. n I only had to tell my wife once that if she touched it, the flag would stay, she'd be gone. Going with Adidas myself, but as a soccer player the Nike cleats suck donkey balls. If I were to choose anything though I'd stick with my Diadora as they are by far the best cleats and longest lasting I've ever used. I still have a pair of my cleats from the Creighton days and I usually just practice in them. I still have some of the Adidas pairs as well, just prefer the feel of the Diadoras.

Last I heard UCLA is good in regards to academics. Part that gets me the most is Neuweasel got the kid, I hate that cokesucker.

I cheer for Creighton in Bball because i'm alumni. I will usually cheer for them in baseball as well. Fortunately no football team so no reason not to root for the Huskers, though I would anyways considering been a Husker football fan for years and years.
