Would love to see what this kid could do catching the ball being thrown to him. Unfortunately he is thrown to 1 time during that whole youtube video and the rest are all handoffs. Looks like the kid is fast as hell though.

Well I think that peeves me off the most about this one is his comments prior to decommitting. He speaks just 3 or 4 days prior about how he's going now where and blows smoke up our arses and then this. His brother did something very similiar with his "I wont pull a Freeman" garbage, and guess what he dropped. Maybe it's just me but I was raised that my word was my bond and if I couldn't give my promise, then I didn't make one be it in writing or verbal. To this day I continue to live by that creed because you are seen and known by how you handle yourself. Maybe their parents haven't taught them the meaning of their word, but I find it beyond pathetic that both of them did this, and very late in the recruiting time. I doubt mini gabbert(seems like it fits as he's the same as his brother in terms of recruiting) see's the field if he goes to MU. As for observer, if a recruit reads a site and see's fans talking about them and can't handle it, trust me they aren't cut out for college football. I can promise you that if that same kid ever royally scres up during a game he'll read 10 times worse the next week or so and he'd end up slitting his wrists because he's such a pansy. That kid would fit in well playing for Kansas as all of their players are whiney little bitches.

I was never sold on him being here next season myself, and said so earlier in his recruitment. I believe I said i'll believe it when he signs on the dotted line, until then he's just another Gabbert. I don't care where this kid goes, but I do hope we get a chance to level him a few times. You have to follow your heart, but at the same time if you don't think you'll be with Nebraska, then dont commit and take all of your visits. As it stands now, it's looking like the Gabbert boys don't have any form or morals and their word means jack squat. I understand Blaine because of the coaching change, but both blew smoke up our hind quarters and left. That alone shows that their word means close to nothing, screw that family.

He deserves the shot and though it would be hard seeing him going against us, that man would get the respect of every husker fan. I say good luck to him and unfortunately I doubt he'd accept and OC position. We all know that Osborne has given his 2 cents to possibly hiring him at KU and he'd be a great choice. That is just my 2 cents.

I'm speaking along the terms of during bootcamp actually. I know I saw a Senior DI rip into one of his guys when he grabbed a recruit by the throat. That DI was put into his place immediately. I know that isn't common as well of course, but it got his point across. My point was basically that Bo is nothing compared to the coaches and DI I've had in my life. They all express their anger and they all will get their point across in the best way they see fit. Football is nothing like the corps, but there are ways that the DI's get to us as recruits, and Bo does this in his own way. He is nothing compared to a DI and I think we both can attest t that.

Wow, at least those of us that were or are in the military know that the OP could never hack it. If you think Bo is bad, try a Marine Corps DI, he'll make Bo look like a cuddly little kitten. You don't like it and yet the majority of fans do, guess that says a lot my friend. Apparently you've never played high school or higher sports because Bo does nothing that other coaches don't do. Hell, I played Div 1 soccer and i've been yelled at plenty more than what i've seen Bo do to his coaches and players. We enjoy your opinion and whiney as it may be, and i'll be damned if I don't call you out on it, but expect others not to share that same opinion. I guess i'm following the herd because some arm chair OC thinks his opinion means more than anyone else's, so be it. The kid is a true freshman, played a whopping 2 games and you have already given up on him. Glad you have nothing to do with the team my friend because it would be 10 times worse than it is now. People still believe that Cody brings something to the table after 2 games simply due to the fact that it's 2 friggin games. Lee, he has shite the bed, no denying that, green on the other hand hasn't really been able to do much in maybe consider a game in a half total playing time. Sometimes you guys remind me of the Villagers in Frankenstein. Just get on up the hill with the 'forks and torches and get it over with. Was this Board around when Zach Wiegert got a scholly? I could be wrong but I think his rating was fairly non-existent. Not that his guy is Zach...but give a guy a chance. Do any of you intentionally screw up if you have a great job? Here is the thing. Even is the kid is worthy of an offer, it is better to save the scholarship and have him walk-on, then get an offer down the line. It saves a scholarship in our short class. With him being in-state and the son of a University employee, his school costs would be essentially nothing. Further, with him having no other offers, it is pointless to give him an offer. For the son of a coach, he was coming here regardless. It's like going into the auction house and bidding against yourself. Kid could get into school, pay next to nothing for his education and not cost us one of our 85 scholarships. It's got nothing to do with running around with pitchforks. It has everything to do with common sense. He gets to go to school free without the scholarship, so why waste it. Since his father works for the institution, he gets to go there for free.

Well our defense is awesome, unfortunately our Offense sh!ts the bed. I have never been so embarrassed for the kids on our team. The defense plays their hind quarters off, and our O is just awful. I've seen teams like William and Mary play better offensively than our squad has shown. It's absolutely unacceptable. Hell Creighton plays better offensively in football and they canceled their team years ago. There's no team to show up, with the NU offense they are at the game and making complete fools of themselves in every aspect.

When did we recruit scrubs for offense? Every single one of those offensive players are at fault for this BS. Every single one of those kids needs to be benched and told they need to earn their spots to even be on the scout team. All of the offensive coaches need to go out there and run those kids until they can't run anymore. Those kids should be ashamed of themselves. Those coaches should be ashamed of themselves as well, not one of them got those kids game ready and apparently they don't play the best players. There is no f'n way that they see these kids in practice and can actually say they are the best at their position and they are the ones who should be in for NU. 8 F'n turnovers is pathetic, I don't think a Div 2 team has had that many turnovers in a game. They need to get their heads out of their hind quarters or this season is done. Paul, Gillyen and quite a few others should never EVER set foot on the field again.
