I have zero legal expertise in this and I don't know what penalties are going to be. But, one thing I do know -- because of how this whole thing went down, though, I would throw out in the hearings that NU will never schedule another game against a former Big 12 foe in the non-conference. Ever. again. Ever. From 2011 to Infinity. Meet in bowls if it comes down to it, but I wouldn't want that puke bend me over conference to ever see one big red cent from us after the penalty unless it was a bowl game. Screw 'em all. Seriously. No, I'm not bitter. Ok, maybe a little.

It's the egg management fee. Small price to pay to be in such great company, really. When and where does the greed and thirst for absolute power end? At first I was more angry than I ever thought possible, but then I realized, I DON'T HAVE TO CARE. If the North teams don't want to stand up for themselves, let them be little yes people - no longer our concern now. Why care - most of 'em hate us for leaving anyway. Up till now, I was actually a little worried about the "forgotten five" and how they would fare, but if their own administration doesn't care about the state of things, then neither do I anymore. pfff.

Uhhh.... sorry, we aren't K-State - we will play the game. Boo hoo about the schedule, that's what real teams do - they schedule games they intend to play.

Let me clarify - rain dances are just for away games. You know, this might actually be a pretty civil trip to Boulder, given the situation. Wow, digest that for awhile.

Hello Kansas, Kansas St, Iowa St, Missouri, Oklahoma and Oklahoma St WAKE UP I not sure we had all the card, I know OSU didn't, and ISU and KSU DEFINITELY had no cards to play. Wake up and what? The TV money for even place like Iowa State will likely more than double. I am not sure they are getting screwed, to be honest. THe fact is that Texas brings the most eyeballs. They make these little schools a lot more than they would get on their own, without Texas. I am not saying this makes Texas great, or generous, but ISU and Texas are far from being weighed in even. Actually, ISU is taking more than it's share given what they pring to the party, as is KSU and Baylor.... SO I doubt they gonna complain. You should have a voice though. Like TU controls the south vote, the north really has to band together on important issues (such as revenue!). Now would be the perfect time to throw out an ultimatum towards the south.

Only if the weather is perfect. I often see "we would have sold out the stadium, but it was 40 degrees outside for crying out loud". I would love for some sort of weather like there was at last year's MU game - it's fairly hard to be a douche when the weather is so crappy. I'll get busy on Saturday mornings and do my rain/snow/blizzard dances.

WHY WHY WHY is OU joined at UT's hip?! To some extent, I see why some of the others are, but OU is better than that and I don't understand the prevailing sentiment from the OU camp that they have to go wherever UT goes. Ugh, this is so disturbing! I repeat, OU is better than that!

If we were making a move from the Big-8 to this situation, but after having witnessed how this conference played out over the past 14 years, I do not have one iota of remorse for bolting into what I feel is a better fit. Right or wrong, the Big 12 killed tradition for us already, as far as I am concerned. Time to go make some new ones and start a new history.

I've said it before on here, but the conference can't be sustained long term because everyone is so distrustful after true colors were shown.

I think that one big reason so many are pizzed right now - one poster even said something like, "Congratulations Nebraska - you finally won". Got a big grin when I saw that one. Another poster or two were very concerned that NU was gonna get a better deal in the long run. (commence evil laugh!)
