If he does end up here I don't envy greg Sharp. I've had some Italian and Japanese kids play in some ball games I've called and when things get crazy it can be really hard to pronounce names correctly.

Ppl need to recognize that we are a development program. Always have been, barring massive demographic change, always will be. this kid has a very solid skill set and needs coaching. So do plenty other kids in this class. His odd recruitment should come as no surprise, a lot of kids in those little states fly under radar. Especially if they don't play the camp game. Not sure how much of that he did but his lack of offers makes me assume no. It's a solid get. Especially when we remember this is a transition year and we are trying to get as many guys that meet our new standard and are still yet available. Most of the elite prospects are off board so people need to be temper those expectations a bit.

Speed is undeniably important. However the metric we measure it by is quite flawed. If frost is recruiting him hard I would say he's plenty fast.

To build on this there was times he disappeared or had no impact. The better the opponent the more frequently this happened. I don't feel like he ever even remotely reached his potential during his time here. Why that was idk not gunna blame it on drugs, but who knows maybe. Wouldn't be the first promising career weed has destroyed.

Curious. He struck me as a "want to play in a pro style scheme" kinda guy to get ready to play in the pros. Sumlin runs a spread so this is interesting.

Agreed. If gebbia or POB end up 2 or 3 on the depth chart they are gone. It makes landing another QB that much more important

same here. Both are elite talents. And would make for an exciting one two punch out of the backfield. Combine that with a dual threat QB and speedy wide outs and that offense can be the reason opposing defenses suffer critical existence failure.

It says nothing other than that they don't want two prospects that play the same position on campus at the same time. A common recruiting tactic to prevent conflict. Perhaps there is also someone visiting on the weekend they rescheduled Henry that they think he will hit it off with. So many variables. No one can be sure.

We should be careful assuming that. There is a real possibility that Washington won't be eligible. Henry has no such concerns.
