  1. you have a horseshoe? Hmmmm, no, but if we did, there is no way you Clemsonites could get to it....it would be well concealed...if we had one... i'm just not sure what a horseshoe would have to do with the husking of corn, sounds more like something okie state would have. or is it more going for the general "lucky horseshoe" angle?
  2. honestly i think they had a point. the whole game is pretty much a push. our defense and your offense are strong, our offense and your defense are shaky, we probably have the special teams advantage
  3. My, doesn't seem like they have an awful lot of opinions, does it? yeah, they covered it better over the past weeks, did a pretty decent know your... segment with Big Red Network a week or 2 ago. also, a decent post covering the city of jacksonville
  4. I'm kinda mad that Chili picked us to lose, he's a bit of a pessimist though
  5. thats the point. if it had happened, they'd be covering it instead of rambling about how Joe Pa will be in the press box for the Rose Bowl Game
  6. rofl did you not see what Florida did to 'Bama? You do realize that Percy Harvin didn't even play in that game right? I realize that Bama is no OU but the idea of OU winning by 3 tds is ludicrous An OU win will be a fairly close win, a Florida win has a better chance of being a blowout but is still likely to be close.
  7. No, because ESPN hates us.. They'd still be reporting it, just raving against NE for allowing it to happen (i saw the sarcasm sign but yet i couldnt resist)
  8. http://www.block-c.com/2008/12/31/nebraska-preview/ another opinion on the upcoming game (can't get enough of 'em right?) not ridiculously in-depth, but if you scroll through previous articles you'll see that its because they've already covered a lot of it.
  9. most of the time easier said than done
  10. (mixes up a huge batch of Orange kool-aid) You gotta stick with the cherry kool-aid single packets nah, i make it ORANGE and mix it STRONG
  11. I'm thinking this is more like the year that OU and USC played for the NC and Auburn was undefeated and deserved to be in the game. USC dominated the Sooners and Auburn (that year's TX) could only wish they had gotten a shot
  12. can somebody tell me if this is the first ever meeting (in college) of two heisman winners? I think Fla wins this one, and it may not even be that close, they have Harvin back in some capacity and Tebow will have a chip on his shoulder to beat the guy who the gator faithful say 'stole' his 2nd trophy. I think you are correct. BTW I wonder who Tebow voted for this year? Hmm good question, I bet he went: 1. Tebow 2. Tebow's abnormally large head 3. Tebow's Heisman trophy from last year

  14. It says that we're looking at the bigger picture ala a SEC championship or an Outback bowl win. I don't know why we don't show up when we play them, because everybody still knows we are the better team in a better conference. Ask anybody in the Southeast. They know. We'll kick some Tater tail tonight!! We have only lost one game. They are still undefeated but haven't played much of a schedule yet. But we get them at home and our coach knows the style of basketball that they try to play. We should match up real well. If we can just get our players fired up the way they should, we'll win by double digits easily. They ride the coattails fo being in the ACC but we will show them tonight that they ain't no DUKE or UNC. BTW, I am pulling for ya'll. You should be pulling for USC too!! I like your team. your 'only' loss at that point was to the College of Charleston, who didnt even make it to the championship game of a tourney that the Tigers won. Trevor Booker dominated yall last night and Sykes got the top play on SportsCenter, 3rd double digit win in a row (or is it the 4th?) for us over the **** ballers (see what i did there?) *didnt know we couldnt say the second half of "gamecock"

  16. that stadium's gonna be rockin tomorrow! wish i could be there to add my voice to that of the Tiger faithful, my roommate got 2 tickets for free, but he decided to take his girlfriend (who isnt enough of a sports fan to truly appreciate it) instead of me. Cant say I blame him as he'll probably get a pretty decent "reward" out of it, but I'm definitely not happy about it. But yeah, should be interesting to see if its louder when Nebraska or Clemson has the ball
  17. I'm sorry, did you type something? nothing important enough to avert your eyes
  18. S'all good, at least you didnt learn the hard way like I did (NEVER cite wikipedia in a research paper) lol ya professors kind of frown upon that one yeah, luckily i got busted for it my senior year in high school, high school teachers are way more lenient about stuff
  19. I wouldnt know, this is the first year i've been able to understand a word he said, it's taken me years to learn understand his "lisp and spit" accent
  20. Bet that really impresses, and later really disappoints, the ladies.
  21. I dunno, but if a team had a color-blind QB it'd be a pretty dirty move to pull this, one timeout would probably be worth it to a lot of coaches to have the other team with a QB who can't tell the difference between WRs and DBs How would you know he was color-blind unless he put it on one of them thar "MyFace" pages I dunno, some of that stuff is documented, Vinny Testeverde is supposedly color-blind
