Honestly, I do too. Nebraska is still my second favorite team, though distant, and I want to see y’all win. But damn, guys...I’m not trying to kick you when you’re down. Just defending my alma mater who has no control over the 8 of the 12 teams they’re scheduled to play.

I wish Nebraska would play in a conference that could actually score a point in the playoffs. The conference talk is BS. Clemson can’t control the quality of the teams in their conference. How is it Clemson’s fault that FSU is terrible just 6 years after winning a national title? or that Miami hasn’t held up its end of the bargain since joining? Since 2008, Clemson has played a P5 team each year including Bama, Auburn, Georgia, Texas A&M, TCU...and that’s on top of playing SC every year as well. So, you’re looking at 10 P5 opponents per year. What more do you want?

Oh, we’re gonna fall one day. I’m not dumb enough to think what’s happening right now is gonna last forever. But at the moment... Clemson played C+ football today and still beat A&M by 14, A&M scored their 1 TD with 6 seconds left and Clemson had some backups in. Think about this, Lawrence is a great QB, but the 3 starting WRs are 6’4” with great hands who can bail him out if he makes a poor decision...to go along with one of the best RBs in the nation. Unless there’s a lapse of focus between Clemson or Alabama, they’ll probably both be in the national title game this year...again. And honestly, I don’t like our chances against them with revenge on their mind.

No offense, and not to be c$%ky...but we won our playoff game by 27 & the national title game by 28...Dabo has a freight train rolling right now. The nation is lacking other programs that can compete with us. Bama can practically say the same. They rolled through the SEC last year with no problems.

Trevor Lawrence was a big UT fan growing up, bc of Peyton Manning. Tee Martin was a big UT fan growing up in East Tennessee, and he was named after Tee Martin. Amari Rodgers was a big UT fan growing up in East Tennessee...oh, and he’s Tee Martin’s SON. All 3 ended up in Clemson. Many UT fans think Butch dropped the ball on all 3.

I’ve never once called them coots. I think that’s dumb and immature...and that’s saying a lot when their mascot is the “c$%ks.” Yes, they got 5 on us...but Clemson leads the alltime series by 25. I think I’m safe to say they’ll never catch up in my lifetime.

I know you weren’t, I just wanted to make it clear that SC sucks more than the others. They’ve lost more ACC games in the past 3 games than Clemson has lost in the past 4 years.

SC has played Clemson, Virginia & UNC their last three games and lost all of them...not just talking about yesterday.

As a Clemson guy who constantly hears “we’d go undefeated with Clemson’s schedule” from the SC folks around here, this 3 game losing streak to all ACC teams is hilarious.

I was initially shocked because you said QB was the only comparable position, considering we had 5 DL get drafted, our DBs are pretty thin, and Trevor is a top QB.

A true freshman QB who NFL scouts said would be #1 pick if he was draft eligible...but sure, I’m being biased.

In regular season games, you’re right. BUT...KB couldn’t hit the long ball...and Bama ate that alive...Trevor ate Bama alive. That’s the difference. Don’t hate on Chase
