i know how you feel........but you gotta believe we would not waste a talent when the O is struggling........the WCO is a complicated thing and their is alot more to it than just rushing the football........i think it is really the reason glenn and lucky have not played much to date........but every week they should be getting better, learning more, becoming more comfortable in there......actually you want them, when they hit the field the first time, to LOOK like they should have been in there the whole time.......they are learning in practice what they need to know on gameday hunter

Carriker, Bradley and McKeon need to introduce themselves to Hodges....early and often! that will be the key to this game, their qb will see a few more Huskers in the backfield this year, than they saw last year...........our dbs will be playing soft again, no choice as we don't have the skill and favorable match ups here hunter

TOP...........TOP.............TOP.............this IS THE GAME.......where our offense has to hold the ball longer than theirs'...........50/50 run pass on our side, turnovers off of them, hit the QB hard, bust them, collapse the pocket, .......yes we will give up some big plays, but lots of pressure should put some INT's in our pocket, turnovers is how we win this one......maybe, just maybe.....we establish the run between the tackles, maybe we even see glenn a little bit, we should use draw plays like Coleman and ISU used against us? cally will not be out coached, but our players may be out played.......we shall see...they are good but NOT THE SAME TEAM as last year........and neither are we........we can do this! hunter

we will have to beat out the florida schools to get him......another great addition if we can get him! hunter

we will have to work like hell to get him away from ND and SC....but we do have a great offense for him and some excellent up and coming QB's to chuck it to him....i think we need this guy to get on board.......we need to recruit the hell out of him!! hunter

thanks KC husker.......i understand the busy part......appreciate the update on Josh and sounds like he had a helluva game! with Beck and him coming along the next couple years, we should be able to concentrate on filling some of the other skill positions that are sorely needed......DB's, OL's, WR's. hunter

At this point, the corners NEED to keep recievers in front of them. If they get behind them by making a bad break on the ball or for some other reason, touchdown other team. dave is absolutely coorect on this one........... hunter

good post, pretty much sums up the results.......i too am hoping the D backs turn it up a notch, TT will test them to the max! i am wondering if we can play a tough bump and run and throw their receivers off, really rough them up some or do we stand to get burned with that strategy? i don't know much about their receivers and their size, athletic ability, how physical they are......?? thoughts?? hunter

i for one have complained about cally and coz in the past, and see some of my complaints still valid, but a number of them have been brought to rest....i am gald to say i was wrong about some of them, hell i am just so happy and proud of our guys and what they have had to absorb/learn, change and go through to get where they are today.......it has been a tough transistion for players and fans alike, but it is obvious to me these kids are dedicated and hanging in there and are listening to the coaches and not the media or us.....i take my hat off to these kids for all they have done to right the good ship Nebraska.....we should all be proud and try a little harder to stay positive and support them........ hunter

ross didn't leave when he did not get the start as a frosh, so Lucky and Glenn need to be patient. reggie bush and a handful of others are unusual as newcomers to get to start as 1st year guys, adrian petersen another rarity........if these guys are smart (Lucky & Glenn) , they know why Ross starts ahead of them, think about it.......if they gel and play well as soph., juniors and seniors, would they expect a new "kid" to come in and start ahead of them? only if he was damn good and earned it in practice....i am tired of hearing about how all these 1 st year guys should be guaranteed playing time as recruits.......it is like everything should be, you come in and earn your playing time, not be given it! if they walk, let 'em walk...... hunter
