The way I see it is, Bo has us winning 9-10 games a year. And if look what we put on the field this year. I think he did quite well. We have so many injured players that we are playing allot of back ups. Give the guy a break. I didn't honestly think we would the CCG or even play in it for that matter.

I can live with 10-3 even 9-4, with that loss in a bowl game against a very good team. This year's team is just to hit and miss to not think we could actually be 6-5 right now. To many injuries and to much inconsistency. So yeah if we finish 10-3 I'd be sated.

Never!! That would be sacrilege.But I wouldn't be adverse to getting rid of Cotton. It kills me that all these other school's with smaller lines have been able to have success with their blocking scheme's and we still can't block anybody. that has to be on the line coach.

Well if anyone believes the rumors that are floating around on 247.com Bo will be fired for cussing out one of the top donors.

These great recruits need to play. Burning a RS, for a few plays is an incredibly bad move IMO. Sitting on the sidelines for 2 yrs will not help recruiting future stars. Question: Those sitting on the sidelines are freshmen, right? Just curious: How many schools in our division (D1-right) play their freshmen? Several team's do. Mich. had like three freshman on D yesterday.

I think he does. L. David does. We need a few more players that have "IT" to move to the next level. Our D had "IT" 2 years ago. but lost it. TM probably doesn't have "IT". But given a little more time to develop what we have waiting we will have "IT" again.

I think our biggest problem with recruiting is we miss to much with our #1-2 prospects and end up with the #3-4 prospects. Need to push harder on the player's at the top of our board.

Disclaimer: I'm not saying we should fire Bo (although I am growing more and more impatient with my disappointment in him). So the answer to this thread is solely a hypothetical IF we had to replace Bo, who would I want. Gundy Patterson I think both of these guys have taken what I would consider "lower-tier" programs to national level teams. They do a lot with what they have to work with. Recruit well and develop the players. Get them in a "big-time" program like Nebraska and they could really excel. My perception is that's usually the way it works if you want to walk with the big dogs. Bob Stoops was the exception at Oklahoma. Most major programs have plucked a hot coach from a lower-tire program and taken that coach to new heights...Miles, Myer, Saban, etc. Seems to be the most reliable recipe for the type of success we want at Nebraska. These guys all recruit to fit there system. Plus look at most MNC winner's. They all have one thing in common. Great QB's and top Defense's.

I don't blame Bo for this. But I do think he needs to reevaluate some of the other coaches and make some changes.

Agreed We lost this game once it became apparent that we had a shot at a BCS game. We should have seen this coming, when "opportunity knocks", the Huskers hide in the closet and bump dickheads. And there it is the voice of reason. Everybody was looking ahead to something we hadn't even earned yet. Complete loss of focus on the task at hand. Beat Mich.
