I don't think THIS team could run it for Nebraska. Florida has a TON of talent at the skill positions and an amazing line. Also its hard to find a quarterback to fit it as well as Tebow does. I think if we got the right recruits then sure we could run it, but florida just gets a lot more talent then us and the right personel, so we could never run it as well as them. I do hope we get some kind of version of the spread fit into to our playbook though.

This is the usual statement that comes from someone who went to Northwest Missouri State or somewhere like that. I realize that it isn't fair that everyone can't go to one of the higher ranked institutions, but rankings, nevertheless, matter. Why are Harvard grads more likely to get into a top graduate school than an Oklahoma grad if grades are the same? Rankings matter. Why are starting salaries for lawyers from a T-14 school or a Top Tier MBA program paid three times as much as those from T4 programs? Rankings matter. Do you think an Ivy League official would have the same conversation with the commissioner? Of course not. Consider with this with the fact that the Ivy League Conference as it is known today was founded AFTER the Big 10. Well IMO the North looks wide open, its kind of surprising to see that they picked us to win it. Kansas returns quite a bit on offense, not sure about their d though. But then again our D looks to be very promising next year I'm just not so sure about the offense, but hey I'm sure we've had worse??

Nah I think Kansas should be pretty tough, not that we can't beat em. And with Mizzou and Colorado you never know either. But hey, thats not comin up anytime soon...its gonna be a loooong off season

A big surprise to me was Piere Allen, he played pretty well for a young player and filled in well for Turner. It'll be a lotta fun getting to see this defense next season.

Just wondering, does Tech lose a lot? I see that mizzou misses some big parts of their offense, but other then that i'm not sure how tough they'll be next year either

I don't know how anyone can not like Joe Ganz. Neither can I. Nebraska hasn't seen a lot of passing quarterbacks and thats a big reason why we'll always remember the Zac Taylors and Joe Ganz's. Not to mention BOTH of them had a ton of heart and left it all on the field.
