  1. written like a pro!! well done!! You do know that whomever posted this information can get the person they got it from in some serious trouble. This service is not afraid to shut down accounts. Just an FYI! That info came from a paid site that is very popular. I do not think the name needs to be divulged.
  2. I say we get a boat and hang out in our Husker gear and play this video all morning before the game. Maybe we can get Samberg or T Pain to show up. Maybe some ex players can show and people from this board. I am making a trip up on Friday and hoping to do a mixer somewhere at a host hotel on Friday night. We can take over a bar at the Westin or something like that. http://www.westinseattle.com/ I plan on having a nice steak dinner in downtown Seattle on Friday or Sat evening. Ruth's Chris in downtown is pretty good. schuhbdoo Speaking of hotels etc. Where are the good places in Seattle to stay? Please take into consideration 1. bars, 2. no ghetto, 3. convenience (no car required to get around to go to said bars), 4. price. Any info from area UW people would be appreciated.

  4. This sounds like a first nomination, I will give it a second.
  5. This topic was discussed earlier (mainly about tickets) link to that thread ticket link I did a ton of research on the ticket issue as I suspect it will be tough. Visitor section info and tailgating info is in the link above. I will be traveling up for the game and meeting my buddies from all corners of the country up there. I am told tailgating on the boats next to the stadium is the "hip" thing to do. Hopefully we can secure that as I have never tailgated on a boat before. Vancouver is also under consideration, I hear that town is a get place to visit. Plus, I have never been to Canada! Anyway, as the date comes closer I am sure we will have a huge thread about who is going and hopefully we can all meet up. Side note on trips as well. If anyone is planning on coming down to A&M game, that is one of the best atmospheres in all of the big 12. The A&M fans are very friendly and are a real joy to party with. They also do a lot of tailgating after the games as well. Our group is going to parlay that game with the CU game for a sweet thanksgiving double header road trip! If anyone contacts the athletic department and gets ticket information, please post.
  6. Anyone have any add-on for a Nebraska theme for the new firefox?
  7. I just got my 360 for xmas. My deal came with Forza and am thought about taking it back for cash but kept it and played it. I will have to say I know nothing about the other car games but Forza is awesome. I am happy with the game, it is very real and has some really good graphics. If you have a gamefly account you should rent all of them and see which is best before buying, also consider buying used (from gamestop) if you can find one to say some money. live account- tex4nu
  8. The real question here is what your going to do in 2012 and 2013 when we play UCLA!!
  9. There was something wrong with my computer lately... stupid work laptop. SORRY! rumor has it Owa eliminated a school, was it NU? Also anyone got any info on JaMichael Rozier, being from Houston and meeting the kid last year, why hasn't NU offered him? Owa eliminated Oregon St. Oregon has an in home on the 18th, NU gets the last in home with Owa. I think this is a good thing. Not sure what the deal on Rozier is, haven't heard much lately. He eliminated USC not oregon St. just got an email. Down to Oregon, Neb and UCLA No, he eliminated USC earlier to get a final 4. The recent drop was Oregon St. to get to a final 3. gotcha, either way NU is still in the running! Gotta like our chances!

  14. if you go to the UW athletic hompage, there is a picture with a view from what looks to be section 4 or 6 (visitors section) it seems to be from the LSU game of 2009.
  15. since we are going down this route, I did some research on the situation... Below are some interesting facts I found on the university site. PARKING The gates for football parking areas open four hours prior to kick‐off. Public football parking is available in a portion of lots E1 and E2. These lots are located north of Husky Stadium on Montlake Blvd. A stack method of parking (bumper‐to‐bumper) is used in lot E1. This means that you will not be able to move your vehicle until the vehicle in front has moved. Non‐stack public parking is available in the west campus lots, west of 15th Ave NE, and in the main campus lots. Motor homes may park in lot E1 on game day, but no overnight motor home parking is allowed on University property. The parking fee is $15 per car with 3 or more persons, $25 per car with 2 or less persons, $75 for buses and $50 for motorhomes and campers. Please note: the parking lots near Husky Stadium generally fill up 30‐ 60 minutes prior to game time. [/u]For general football parking information call (206) 616‐8710. For information on Tyee parking permits, call 206‐543‐2234 or e‐mail huskies@u.washington.edu. ALCOHOL POLICIES RCW 66.44.100 Opening or consuming liquor in public places – Penalty. Except as permitted by this title, no person shall open the package containing liquor or consume liquor in a public place. Every person who violates any provision of this section shall be guilty of an infraction. (this is not to say that there is no tailgating, it is just there alcohol policy) Tickets What sections does the visiting team sit in at Husky Stadium? The traditional visiting team area is located in the West End Zone; sections 4 and 6. If visiting teams request more tickets they will be placed in additional areas in the west end zone and other sections if necessary. [/u] When will Husky Football single game tickets be mailed out? Single game tickets ordered prior to the season are mailed out in mid-August. Single game ticket orders after the season begins are mailed out within 3 business days of the order. Orders placed within one week of the game are only available for pick-up at Will Call. ow are the Husky Stadium rows numbered? Husky Stadium sections are even-numbered on the south side and odd-numbered on the north side; starting from the middle section in the west end zone as #1. Lower level section rows are marked by the letters of the alphabet as follows: A to Z, AA-ZZ (top row varies by section). The first 5 rows, rows A through E, are considered to be view obstructed because of the proximity to field level and sideline activity. North Upper Deck rows are marked by the letters of the alphabet as follows: A to Z, AA-ZZ, followed by AZ-OZ. Rows above IZ may have some obstructed viewing due to the support posts of the roof. South Upper Deck rows are marked by the letters of the alphabet as follows: A to Z, AA-ZZ, followed by AZ-GZ. Rows above ZZ may have some obstructed viewing due to the support posts of the roof. In the West End Zone (sections 1 - 17), the more desirable seats are located in the higher rows as they offer a better viewing perspective of the field. Seats are numbered on the south side with the lowest to highest numbers from left to right as you look at the playing field. Seats are numbered on the north side with the lowest to highest numbers from right to left as you look at the field. What seats are under cover? Seats in row Z and above in sections 18 - 30 Seats in row EE and above in sections 19-31 Seats in row R and above in sections 41 - 51 Seats in row J and above in sections 38 - 48 The "edge" sections (16,17,36,50,37,53) that are under cover may or may not be depending on row, seat number and weather conditions. Severe weather conditions can affect any covered location in Husky Stadium.
  16. Linky Link Sorry Cy, this seems to be a no cyclones club only!
  17. I guess why have a conference championship game in your scenario? Other than ticket sells why bother, very little will really depend on the outcome (I know a higher seed is the outcome) but to the casual fan (not me) this is not going to draw in the TV audience. I would watch cause hey it is football , what else is on besides reruns of Star Trek? This is really my only issues with the system. We have to face reality, the BCS is here to stay until at least 2013season. Which means after the 2010 season I will be rethinking my Fiesta Bowl season ticket package, unless something gets worked out to where they get to host the national championship of college football (whatever they want to call it after the 2013 season) I like the post!
  18. Knapplc- Head coach!! would have said AD but since they are not on the list for some reason. Cy the Cyclone- has got to be on the O-line or D-line somewhere.

  20. Anyone plan on going to this game? UW I plan on it but have been to the Northwest and know nothing about the Seattle area. Anyone know of where to stay or what to do (besides hit a coffee shop) There was also talk of a Thursday ESPN game for UT-NU during the middle portion of last year. I think the main reason was because of both teams having the week off before. Anyway, got my hotel at the Ho-A-Day Inn as the Cornhusker and E- Suites were already booked for the weekend. I am so stoked about the 2010 season, the off season is going to be so boring this year!!!!!!!!!!!!
