  1. He may be the best DT in the conference. He was living in the shadow of Ndamukong Suh all year, but he's an excellent player. If his play from the second half of the season carries over into next season, he's going to be a force.
  2. I remember him playing fine against Texas, it was his receivers who had a terrible game. The SDSU game was the same problem as the Holiday Bowl, nobody wanted to be there. That's a problem with the coach more than it is with the quarterback.
  3. Dennard, David, and Crick staying is going to be huge for us. We'll need to rely heavily on our defense yet again.
  4. Last year we won the Big XII Championship game, until they added time (against a better team than we faced this year). And we rolled a better team in the Holiday Bowl.
  5. 1-2 if Shawn Watson is still here, which is looking more and more to be the case. Thanks for the welcome!
  6. Since when are we running the triple option offense of the 90's title teams? So bigger and slower is what we need for the read option? I'll take 300 lb guys that are physical and can run instead of our fat-asses that play patty-cake right now. Harsh. I'd pay money to see you say that to their faces.
  7. He is a big boy too.. 6'7 315 7'2 with the 'fro.
  8. Marcel Jones will start if healthy, most likely.
  9. We really needed this win. If we can muster an upset against Mizzou or Kansas, we'll be in really good shape. Oh how I would love to beat Kansas heading out of the Big XII.
  10. The one that's going to play MLB? Does it matter? Um, yeah.
  11. The one that's going to play MLB?
  12. On the other hand it's hard to take Bo seriously as a head coach until he proves his teams can get it done on offense.
  13. It's hard to take them seriously. This is the same fanbase that constantly talks trash about Miles after all the winning he's done there.
  14. No way I'm reading this ridiculous thread, but I'll say this, sorry if it's been said. No way Zac goes from starter to 3rd string because of a couple Taylor runs in practice. If Zac was about to be named starter and was dethroned, wouldn't that bump him down to 2nd string? This is where the OP's opinion crumbles. Nice try super guy. Your sources don't exist.
  15. Right, because all those records he nearly set were worthless. The ONLY thing preventing Taylor from rewriting the record books was a high ankle sprain. This revisionist history needs to stop. Exactly this. What a difference an injury makes. Before the injury the kid was the savior of Nebraska football, after the injury he's no longer fit to be a starter. Taylor has the talent, but it's raw. Let the kid develop people. I also forgot that breaking records wins football games. WHO CARES about records. Taylor could have ran for 5000 yards in the first 6 games and it mean nothing with the record we ended with. They were essentially worthless. If we go undefeated they are worthless. Fact is he can't pass, read a defense, etc. The fact that he is being compared to what tebow was his freshmen year is comical. We are one dimensional to our death. Can you blame a QUARTERBACK recruit for having more confidence in moving the ball than,Taylor. Yes and no. But unless Taylor goes lightyears this off-season we are going to be SOL again. No, it isn't a fact he can't pass. In fact, he can pass. He was throwing fine up until he injured the ankle of the foot he throws off of. Remember the Okie Light game? Or the Texas game? He was throwing just fine, his receivers just couldn't catch a cold. In the end, he's was a freshman. Do we give up on him because he struggled when he shouldn't have even been playing? I say nay. Let him grow, he has 3 years left.
  16. Taylor Martinez. If the impossible happens and Bubba comes to school, things could get interesting. But until that happens (LOL ain't gonna happen), it's going to be Taylor Martinez.
  17. I really doubt Hagg falls to 7th or FA. Didn't Pro Football Weekly have him as their #1 safety? He won't be that either, but 7th rounder? No way. Also, no way Henery goes undrafted.

  19. That's too bad. Wish him all the luck in the world. He's been going through some tough times off the field, I really hope this works out for him.
  20. No. If we're still talking about firing Watson this time next year, we really have to question Bo as a head coach.
  21. Where did this come from? Osborne has done an incredible job as AD.
