  1. To think just a couple of years ago we couldn't even break into the Top 25. How times have changed!
  2. Beebe will send the Big XII to its grave. The other schools will not stand for the South's arrogant control of the conference like this long term.
  3. Aaryn, welcome to the Husker family. Go Big Red!
  4. I live up I-5 from Seattle in Everett and can't wait to welcome the Husker faithful to the most beautiful state in the Pacific Northwest. I'll be there too. Go Big Red!
  5. Under Bo this team has consistently trended upwards. While QB play remains a question going into this season I believe this team is capable of going undefeated. Will it going undefeated? Probably not. Another thing that has been consistent the last couple of years is sometimes we win one we shouldn't and lose one we shouldn't. And then there is Texas...Who, for whatever reason just has our number. (See Terrence Nunn fumble and :01 game) So when I look at the schedule, the games that cause me a little uneasiness is @ Washington and vs. Texas. It's early in the season when we may still have some bugs to work out and the game against the Huskies is on the road. Washington is improving and Jake Locker can cause some problems. And well, Texas is Texas. They are always deep and while McCoy and Shipley are gone as well as some key linemen, Texas simply reloads. Garrett Gilbert will be ready by fall and it will be a tough game. We'll probably have to see them twice. Just my two cents...
  6. I'm worried about this one...Beaches, bikinis, sunny weather, USCs recent success, and the city life of L.A. might be too tempting. Do these "amenities" bite us in the butt again?
  7. That is so awesome! I've been rooting for him to get picked up. Now, he just needs to make the cut.
  8. Huge get! Welcome to the Husker family Kevin! We're really glad to have you!
  9. Is Suh for one more year a possible pick?
  10. Way too soon to tell. All I know is that we have a lot of talented QBs with a ton of potential. Some will "pan out" while others will not. May the best man win.
  11. Niles Paul got the best of Amukamara and McNeill, Kinnie and Henry got into the mix as well. So, is the wide receiver position improved? Will it be a position of strength in the fall as the season draws closer? I see definite improvement with room for even more. Your thoughts?
  12. I don't believe a guy should lose his starting job to injury, but unlike Zac Lee who looks awkward running the ball, Martinez by all accounts has some wheels. Advantage T-Mart. In the end I think it's still Zac Lee's position to lose but isn't it fun to see a legitimate QB race taking place?
  13. It is so fun watching this team and the hard work they and the coaches have put in the last three years put them on the verge of greatness. The optimism in the heartland has got to be off the charts right now. After 6 or 7 years wallowing in mud and mire it is fun to be a Husker fan again. Enjoy my brothers and sisters.
  14. They know they better get on board because the train is leaving the station in September.
