  1. I think you are missing the point of the post .... kid.
  2. Swagger is fun when you win and are plainly better, but it makes opponents bitter. Just look at Thug U. I will admit swag is fun when it is your team who has it though. The D end (Michael Johnson) who was at GT last year did the "feed me" dance sometimes after making a good play and I loved it, but if another team's player did it I would say something negative about the whole thing.
  3. He fell repeatedly so that Neb would only win by 33. Pelini instructed him to fall over as to not run the score up .... even at the beginning .... because Bo knows all of course.
  4. I think that is pushing it. Just think ... would Pelini say "oh I think next year we will be worse." No, so I would wait to see what actually happens because every coach in the country would say their team is going to be better next year. It would be different if 20 of 22 starters were returning, but that is not the case. But on the bright side the offense really can only go up.
  5. well their football program is a bust sooooo......
  6. I guess we have something in common, Neb is my second favorite .... more like 1.b team ... now don't go on embarrassing the ACC even more than has already occurred when you guys play Tennessee tonight .
  7. Wow Mizzou must really suck .. they are getting blown apart on D by an offense that is extremely outdated and must therefore be ineffective and only for cavemen.
  8. Bama has to have a better D because they have esseeesee speed. It is in the food they eat, they just run faster and are better at football. Yeah..... the easiest way to get good is to let thugs play for you and not attend class, enough said.
  9. Disappointed the the ACC is worse than the Big 10. Oh well it goes in cycles.
  10. Don't know how you could make this without knowing who is going pro and who is staying. At least on GT if the juniors that power our offense stay we are top 5, if they go pro, we are only top 20 or so. Much too early!
  11. Voted For the Crimson Tide Kidding...voted for Nebraska cuz GT wasn't on there.
  12. giving away Mizzou and adding TCU? Sounds like a win for the Big 10 and big 12.
  13. FWIW Suh reflects well on Nebraska he speaks very well.
  14. It was a wall of words so I will admit I didn't read it. But I will just say that the amount of money he makes compared to the revenue he generates is a pittance ...
  15. I thought it was peculiar when I heard his number was being retired.
  16. You can honestly see ANY team blowing us out? Let's remember that 7 of the points in that Texas Tech game was scored on a 75 yard fumble recovery for TD. We have not allowed 30 points all year. No one is blowing this defense out, short of the '07 New England Patriots. Yeah. That. Zona's in trouble. You don't need to beat the Husker defense to win. You just need to force offensive mistakes and turnovers. Defensive TD's and very short fields could produce a blowout....
  17. Suh makes it interesting even for person who is not a fan of either team.
  18. The horse collar rule is bogus. They should rename it the "can't tackle high when coming from behind" rule. 85% of the calls that are ruled a horse collar are jersey grabs, but I guess it serves the same purpose since it is just as dangerous to drag a guy down by the jersey than by the pads.
  19. HAHAAH right when I read the OP's post I was going to make this exact post minus the Suh and insert yet another "offense." It is really all the Huskers could want next season. With an average offense this is a BCS team... it is like Bama a year ago.
  20. It is a totally one sided team. All world offense and a high school defense. Like the other side of the Nebraska coin...except I would call the GT defense a lil more competent than the Husker O. Except with this option offense you can pass just as easily as you can run. In essence, you have a four WR set out on the field at all times. If Thomas didn't drop that fourth down pass, this game may have ended differently. Paul Johnson = offensive genius The option works under any circumstances as Mike pointed out. GT leads the nation in 50+ yard pass plays and 20+ yard runs. This offense is more explosive than 99% of all others. It is LETHAL with a lead but much better than average with a deficit.
  21. Love that idea. Let's get Bo on that! You are assuming you will never have more than one lineman who is all-world?
  22. This game could be anywhere from totally one sided in the huskers favor to a blowout by Arizona. I would say the spread is fair... it is basically saying "we have no clue who is better."
