  1. We dont play either one of those teams next year but texas could be gameday. I never said we did. I said Texas plays TT and Oklahoma in their first 5 games. I am more talking about if both teams will be 5-0 entering the game.
  2. Doesnt mean much other then we dont have to climb as much. If we win our first 5 games(should be 5-0) and they win their first 5(Texas Tech and Oklahoma might be tough) but if we are both 5-0, we are talking 2 top 5 teams maybe. Gameday!?!?!?!
  3. Suh has the size of a DT, the athletic ability of a MLB and the pressence of mind of a leader. He keeps his mouth shut, he sacks the QB, stuffs the run, intercepts and tips passes. He will do everything you want and need and more. He is a stand up guy.
  4. Thanks, your info is much appreciated!
  5. I am going to try it out. Thanks
  6. Not sure if I would put Northwestern or Stanford in the Ivy League league ( ), but I would say Northwestern and Stanford are on the same level as each other. Of course it depends on what discipline/major you are talking about, but as far as academic prestige goes, they are similar. Nebraska is a good two or three notches below those schools academically, sorry to say it. Yeah I didn't mean to imply that they're Ivy League, but they're the closest thing to Ivy League status. Dont forget about West Virginia and their great academics
  7. 21... gotta love being a student here at UNL
  8. Kids that grow up in Illinois usually dream of playing in the Big 10. I remember my school's star running back when I was a senior was supposed to have offers from every Big 10 school by the time his season was done (ended up playing fullback at Illinois State, but he was a darn good fullback), but that didn't happen obviously. My guess is it's that this kid heard nothing but Big 10/Notre Dame while he was growing up and still is somewhat leaning in that direction. I grew up in the big ten aswell(Minnesota Golden Gopher) I thought the Big Ten was prime time, till i visited Nebraska and saw what the Big 12 is all about. If it is atmosphere Cooper wants, he should pick NU. Hmmm...Minnesota native, came to NU over Big 10 schools. My guess is that you're either Murtha or Swift. lol jk I am no hutchinson boy. I am from the cities I am happy to see Bo is getting some minnesota guys in his class though.

  10. Yup, my bad. sorry for the confusion. I like him but that celebration after the block was a bit much.
  11. I don't see the connection. How do you figure? They still have at least two scholarships left from what the coaches have said. Well, this would leave us with 2 spots and I am guessing we have our eyes on more than just Owa and Cooper. I doubt we offer to Mobley if we think we have Owa and Cooper wrapped up because i am guessing there are some players we would rather have over Mobley. Just my guess, i am probably waaay off.
  12. Sounds like we are getting the cream of the crop for 2011 at QB(or they have interest in us) So i would say if we can stumble across a QB that is great, otherwise it isnt going to kill us if we dont.
  13. I wonder if this means we are on the outside looking in for some of the big boys we are high on right now(Owa,Cooper, QB search)
  14. We are not getting him, can we move on?
  15. Bo Pelini on his in home to Owa's house, "Carl, could you come in here for a minute and introduce yourself to........Owa's Mom?" For many that read Rumorville this is extremely funny. You are the man Cave I agree, quote of the year so far then again we are only a few days in
  16. His motor never quits, that is why he is so good. Size, skin color and location dont mean much when a kid has a motor and a desire to win.
  17. I would say 70% chance he is in Red. The only reason it is so low is cause he is still comitted to Illinois, so he must love something about them(no idea what they are slowly becoming the crap of the Big ten)
  18. Depth is not a bad thing at QB. You never know, one guy might just show natural ability and steal the job from Lee.
  19. Bo Pelini on his in home to Owa's house, "Carl, could you come in here for a minute and introduce yourself to........Owa's Mom?"
  20. Agreed on the mom thing. I am only about 400 miles from home but i would not have come here if my mom was not ok with it. Bring the Mom a nice "HUSKER MOM" t-shirt and hope that Bo has a way with the ladies
  21. This is very exciting. Any chance he gets playing time as a freshman or does he just spend a year or 2 learning? I think that if he added them back to the list that means somethign, if he thought they were 4th or 5th he wouldnt have added them back on. If he added us back on, its cause he at least has an interest to come here. GBR
  22. Love his size, name is even better. I doubt we get him, sounds like OSU might have an early track bu that is only my guessing. We can hope.
