The greatest thing about Suh is how he makes everyone around him so much better. O'Hanlon probably would not have had the night he did if it was not for the pressure by Suh. Crick is outstanding because Suh demands so much attention. Suh is a game changer.

I honestly believe our offensive stuck to the plan, they were not expected to do much other than not turnover the ball and take up as much time as possible. It would have been nice to see another touchdown or two; but they did what they had to do to win the game. YOU PLAY TO WIN THE GAME!!!

I would add, how long did it take TO to beat OU? This was a good OU team and under-rated at 23.

Even when we held OU to only 3 points? That was the only way we could win, and Pelini pulled it off! That's a signature win. Our offense did not play well, but it played better than OU's against a pretty stout defense, albeit not as stout as ours.

Not only that, but when NU loses, it is usually in such a fashion that rips your heart out, while it is still beating.

Definitely, Pelini out-coached Stoops plain and simple. Our defense did better against their offense, than their defense did against our offense; and their offense was much better than ours.

Seriously, if the D can maintain this level (or better!) for a couple of years, the offense might catch up and... wowow! If the offense could reliably put 3 TDs on the board, we're a top 10 team. Watson had a better than 3 TDs offense just last season. We might be able to put this team together quicker than you may think. Our offense is still very young, and we need an O-line.

It is a win over an OU that rocked us last year. Also, OU is still a pretty strong team, they played with UT. I am not an apologist, but all of their losses were within one or two, except for tonight. Given their season, we blew them out!

I think Green should play because he is more athletic, but I felt more confident with Lee in this game. I will say he is absolutely the worst decision maker ever, he would be worse at picking out a TV from Sears than Brett Favre.

I would disagree. We just have to beat KU, KSU, CU. That is not out of the realm of possibility. After tonight's win, we'll be in great shape.

Never, a little over 5 years ago a 4 game losing streak would be part of any good season for KU.

I think Iowa's season is directly related to Nebraska being Number 9, and you cannot discuss one without the other. Some of us can. Vince, correct me if I'm wrong, and I'm sure you will, but you were the first to bring up Iowa. Nebraska's season is disappointing, but there is still hope. I think next year can easily be our breakthrough season. If we get our offense and defense to play at the same level during the season, we will be a top 3 team in the Big XII. I fear this time next year we'll be having this same conversation. Maybe....but we shouldn't be. NU should be back to NU-like Football by next year. If not - something is seriously wrong. I dont see how our Offense can improve that much in such a short amount of time. I think we are still a few years away from being BCS bowl team It's taken 4 years of Watson to get to this point. Anyway how does a thread about NU being a dissapointment (which the offense clearly is.) become a discussion about Iowa. Maybe there is some truth that Nebraska fans are Jealous of Iowa. Iowa loss, does that mean end of discussion?

Vince, I COMPLETELY agree with you, finally!!! No offense....but it's been my message and intent with just about every post over the last couple of days. I think we've only really disagreed about that whole pesky rivalry issue. I think it is true that whether we win this game or not is entirely up to us. If we play to our top level on defense and if our offense clicks, puts some points on the board, and wins ball possession have a good chance to win. It is feasible.
