  1. So if he is coming in July, is he still counted as part of the 2011 class? How does that work?
  2. According to the other thread, OU is #5.
  3. Is anyone else having trouble with huskers.com videos? It plays for a few seconds then stops and buffers for 10 seconds, over and over.
  4. Yes. It's called a "Bounce Rooskie". We ran that play back in '82 with Gill to Mitch Krenk against OU. It was awesome. Sweet. Seems pretty risky though, the ball has to bounce just right.
  5. Was that pass from Cody Green to McNeil, who then threw it downfield, supposed to bounce off the ground?
  6. Will someone please post the official rules specific to this play? I am really interested in seeing how it is fully written... Section 3. Reviewable Plays Side Line, Goal Line, End Line Article 1. Reviewable plays governed by a sideline, goal line or an end line include: a. Scoring plays, including a runner in possession of a live ball breaking the plane of a goal line. b. A pass ruled complete, incomplete or intercepted at a side line, goal line or an end line. c. A runner or pass receiver ruled in or out of bounds. d. Recovery of a loose ball in or out of bounds in the field of play or an end zone. Passes Article 2. Reviewable plays involving passes include: a. A pass ruled complete, incomplete or intercepted anywhere in the field of play or an end zone. b. A legal forward pass touched by an ineligible receiver. c. A legal forward pass touched by a defensive player. d. A fumble ruled on the part of a potential passer. (Note: If the on-field ruling is forward pass and the pass is incomplete, the play is not reviewable). e. A forward pass or forward handing ruled when a runner is beyond the line of scrimmage. f. A forward pass or forward handing ruled after a change of possession. g. A pass ruled forward or backward when thrown from behind the line of scrimmage. (Exception: If the pass is ruled forward and is incomplete, the play is not reviewable). Miscellaneous Article 3. Miscellaneous reviewable plays include: a. A runner judged to have been not down by rule. (Note: If a runner is ruled down, the play is not reviewable). b. A runner’s forward progress with respect to a first down. c. Touching of any type kick by any player. d. The number of players participating by either team during a live ball. e. A scrimmage kicker beyond the line of scrimmage when the ball is kicked. f. Clock adjustment when a ruling on the field is reversed. g. A fumble recovery by a Team A player during fourth down or a try and before any change of possession.
  7. Section Q, Row 32. 50 yard line behind the Husker sidelines!
  8. This isn't your typical Big 12 away game. Baylor very rarely sells out their stadium (only 38,000 against top 15 Oklahoma St.). And even at capacity, it's not a very hostile environment. My guess is that there are about 35,000 Baylor fans and 5000-8000 Husker fans at this game. Weather will be perfect, sunny and mid-60s. Baylor's offense is pathetic and will be lucky to score 10 against the Blackshirts. IMO, couldn't be a more perfect opportunity to see what Green can do. Yep, I'm gonna be there cheering them on. I don't care who starts, I just want to see our offense execute.
  9. I have my doubts. Lee didn't look that bad against Iowa State, so unless Green passes him in practice I see no change. If he doesn't start, then next week we will be hearing from Bo's barber's uncle's friend that he has been saving his secret weapon for Oklahoma and it will be then that he unleashes Cody Green upon the world.
  10. Lee has had his chance. No his receivers didn't help him any, but he like the rest of the offense is too inconsistent. I haven't seen him improve any so I think it's time to work on Nebraska's future and put Cody Green in as starter. He might actually be a playmaker we sorely need on the offense.
  11. We had success running out of I formation with Legate and Robinson during the third quarter, 'til Robinson fumbled it. Is it just me or did we not run out of the formation the rest of the game? We were getting nearly 10 yards a pop.
  12. Lee isn't doing terrible, but I think his play was going downhill quickly there at the end of the half. Lots of misfires. His receivers aren't helping much, but we need someone to step up and make plays consistently.
  13. I like the "Oh sh#t this is gonna hurt" look on Sheffield's face.
  14. That's based off how they have played so far? Gerald McCoy hasn't been that impressive this year. He has 13 tackles (12 solo, 1 asst) and 3 sacks. That's it. Nowhere near Suh this year so far.
  15. I'm pretty sure it's a figure of speech. I doubt he really thinks people will be having homosexual thoughts about Green.
