  1. Sources say Manning played with torn right quad muscle. IMO, and I'm no NFL coach, but if a guy is demonstrating that he is to capable of helping your team win, then I don't care if he's Peyton f'ing Manning, the coaches owe it to the rest of the team to give them the best opportunity to win. Osweiler should've atleast been given a chance.

      I don't think any of them looked as ineffective as Manning did though. Rodgers was a ke to start turning it on in the second half. Credit Manning for trying to gut it out, but he never looked effective.

       

      They kept getting away from the run all year. Finally the loss to the Rams where we threw 50 times and ran 15, finally raised some concerns but then Manning just gets all pass happy during spurts in games. 46 passes? Terrible game management.

      The blueprint to beat Manning has been out there for a long time. Indy was smart enough to do it. I never understand why more teams don't. Blitz and jam WR's. Now why Denver's defense never attempted the same things, I don't know. What s horrible game all around.
