    Serious question: when Mike Krzyzewski first started coaching, his name was pronounced [Kris] - [shevsky]. At what point did everyone start pronouncing it [shoe] - [shevsky]? There's is no SH at the beginning of his name. Yes, it's dumb, but damn it annoys me when people say Shoeshevsky. Is this the actual correct pronunciation?

      No human can pronounce all those crazy consonants lumped together in there. So they just say "sh". As in shrewd.
