Injuries are a part of the game. Last I saw, we had more points than Ohio St. when the clock hit 0:00 in the fourth. Scoreboard is all that matters. I'm sure that is what he is basing it on.

Bo doesn't seem like the forgive and forget type to me. This trip could be more of a get you alone so I can bury your ass deep in the woods somewhere type of thing.

I can't say I give two sh#ts whether the media gets closed out or not. As long as this place never gets closed down to former players and such. Keep the doors open forever to the guys who have earned it. As far as media, I can't say I care.

I'm in one hundred percent agreement on that one. I'm not saying Dirk or anyone at the OWH is right or wrong for the things they say and have said recently. Sipple and Brian Christopherson are the kings of walking the fence though. Geez, those guys are pathetic when it comes to voicing an actual opinion. I have been reading those guys for years and I think I've only read one time where either of them has wrote something that might go against the grain a bit. Again, not saying Dirk was right, but atleast he has the balls to have a voice.

Bo said in B1G teleconference that Crick is getting a few days off this week but that he's doing fine and will be ready to go again next week.

Im not 100% sure if this is right but I think that every A-10 has that on it.....I havent really seen one without it so I am guessing so. Those planes are flying tanks.... Now that would be an interesting flyover.

I know one thing I have gathered from Bo's tenure here at Nebraska. Being in Bo's doghouse is a bad place to be, and apparently, is very hard to get out of. I believe I have seen it with some players, and now some journalists.

Michigan, Michigan State, Northwestern could all be losses. If we lose to Penn St. I will be absolutely shocked.

Now it would really be something if the defense turned the corner offensively. I knew something was going to be said once I read it (should make more use of the preview post option). However, if the defense could pull it off, that would be incredibly benefical. Yea, but if everyone used the preview post option, then most people would never say what they really mean. Or say what they want to say. They would re-read it and make changes, or think too much. I like the reactionary comments. If we went around previewing our posts, then there would be less politically incorrect stuff, and less real opinions. We would all sound like Knapplc or something. That wouldn't be any fun.

If we can run the ball, use long drives and time of possession to keep their offense (namely Robinson)off the field, then I think we could win that game. If their offense is on the field a lot though, I expect them to score almost every time they have the ball. This game is pretty far off though, so who knows what could change by then.

I don't know what makes me think this.....but I just have a funny feeling that Bo and Carl might know how to coach a defense. Things will get better.

I can't wrap my mind around the fact that the same people who watched the Wisconsin game thought this OSU game would be a blowout. We know our defense is struggling, and we know that our offense needed to answer the call. OSU had a top fifteen defense in the country and look at the second half we had on them. Martinez looked pretty good both running and passing. He made good decisions and you could see that the checkdown to Burkhead was a focus of his this week. That went very well. Burkhead was able to have his way with that top 15 defense. I never thought this game would be a blowout. I did think it would be a low scoring game and would be decided by a field goal. Though the game was close, they scored more points than I thought, and yes, we clearly have a lot to fix on defense. Still, this team showed their character. They never gave up when they easily could have laid down like they did at Wisconsin. They fought their butts off in that second half and personally I thought it was one of the most inspired halves of football I've seen in Nebraska. Great win for this team. Great way to head into the bye week and build.

I heard he was unconscious for half the game last night. That's how good he is. He can play that well unconscious, I can't wait til' he wakes up. On a serious note, I hope the kid is doing okay. He is 100% born and raised Husker, and that means more to me than anything. The dude plays his butt off regardless.

I'm with you. I think the offense is finding their groove. Last night was a damn good start on how this offense should look from here on out this year. I know the defense will get better. How fast will they improve? I don't know. I will go out on a limb and say the only loss we have the rest of the year is Michigan. We will end up losing the division to them. Oh well though. This is a great building year. Lot's to learn and you can tell we are learning it.
