  1. The good thing about both teams is they will be losing their starting QB's while another loses both it's RB's and FB. It takes 4-6 games for a new QB to feel comfortable in the pocket. Case in point Brett Bomar and Zac Taylor this year. Zach didn't start doing good untill the 4th game against Iowa St and Bomar didn't start improving untill after the Texas game (5th game). USC will be our 3rd game since we are going to a 12 game schedule next year ( i am guessing we play 2 cupcakes before USC)
  2. Baytown, is there a particular game you are interested in?
  3. Packers making an offer to who? Coz? Why?
  4. He isn't going pro, i can promise you that after talking to him. Herian said he saw the article and was wondering where people were getting their info from. He said he still had the screws in his foot up untill a couple of days ago, so how do they expect him to be running by the April combine. The guy needs about 2 more months of physical thearpy before he can actually start running at full speed and he's not going to risk anymore damage to his leg by trying to impress NFL scout. This delcaring to NFL rumour has no legs. Trust me on that
  5. Were they in the same room at the time?
  6. Were they not talking to each other because of an argument they had? Were the diliberatly avoiding each other? Did they see each other? Did they speak different languages and aren't able to understand one another? Did one of them avoid the other becuse he owed the other something? Were they on a conference call?
  7. You are forgetting Steelers have to go to Denver and play against a team that just knocked off the back to back Superbowl champ. That and the fact they will be playing in a thin air atmosphere and we saw how well a cold climate team like the PATS did in Denver.
  8. Can we get a mod to strike him down for blasphemy? Bronco's fan here and the poor patriots will finally lose after winning 10 consecutive playoff games. The Patriots have to come to Denver and not many teams escape Denver with the W. In my opinion it will be the Bronco's and Steelers in the AFC and Bears-Seahawks in the NFC So far..3 for 3 on my predictions, now just waiting on the Bears/Panthers score. I know i should be rooting for the Bears since i picked them to win, but hearing my brother whine about his bears losing is much more fun Superbowl: Bronco's vs Seahawks (although i would prefer the bears)
  9. You can find tickets for every game outside the stadium. The closer it gets to kickoff, the cheaper they get. Some people were selling their tickets for 10 bucks right at kickoff to get rid of them. Tickets are never a problem if you keep looking around the stadium.
  10. That would make sense. Damn why didn't i think of that
  11. One of them had a sex change and the other didn't know it was him? One of them had facial reconstructive surgery? One of them was severly burned in the face from a fire accident?
  12. Heard this one before. He was hunting in the mountains and caused an avalanche because of the loud shotgun (rifle) sound
  13. Asian people find new ways to make sandwich spread from bird droppings with some consequences
  14. Will Henry, a 6-foot-6, 195-pound wide receiver from El Paso, Texas, on Sunday gave his verbal commitment to accept Nebraska’s scholarship offer. You might notice a trend here in regard to the Huskers’ recent wideout recruits. They’d probably make a decent basketball team, if it could find a point guard. Maurice Purify is 6-4, 210; Menelik Holt 6-4, 210; and Tyrell Spain 6-3, 190. Playing for J.M. Hanks High in El Paso, Henry this season hauled in 56 receptions for 927 yards and 12 touchdowns. According to Scout.com and Rivals.com, he turned down scholarship offers from Texas Tech, Texas-El Paso and New Mexico State. Rivals.com ranks Henry as a two-star player (out of five possible), while Scout.com gives him one star. Nebraska’s wide receiver position received a significant boost this past season from Nate Swift (45 receptions for 641 yards), Terrence Nunn (43-495), Grant Mulkey (26-271) and Frantz Hardy (25-349). It appears those players will be pushed by some tall and fast incoming recruits. Of course, competition in practice is ALWAYS a good thing Link
  15. It's only open to the Media, not the public. Last year it was closed to both
  16. Yup, the spring games at NU are getting more and more full each year. I have been going to the spring games since 1997 and each one seems to get better and better. If we keep loading up Memorial stadium like that, the NCAA might ban us from playing and probably view it as a pre-season game
  17. wasn't the 95 season that NU was undefeated and CU, KSU, and KU only had 2 losses each? and each of them ended up in the top 25? All ended up in the top 10, I believe. Correct. They beat 4 of the top10 teams in the nation that year 1-Nebraska 12-0 1,550 points 2-Florida 12-1 1,474 points 3-Tennessee 11-1 1,428 points 4-Florida St 10-2 1,311 points 5-Colorado 10-2 1,309 points (only 2 points seperated FSU and CU) 6-Ohio St 11-2 1,161 points 7-Kansas St 10-2 1,147 points 8-Northwestern 10-2 1,124 points 9-Kansas 10-2 1,029 points 10-Virginia Tech 10-2 1,015 points 11-Notre Dame 9-3 12-USC 10-2-1 13-Penn St 9-3 14-Texas 10-2-1 15-Texasa A&M 9-3 16-Virginia 9-4 17-Michigan 9-4 18-Oregon 9-3 19-Syracuse 9-3 20-Miami 8-2 21-Alabama 8-2 22-Auburn 8-4 23-Texas Tech 9-3 24-Toledo 11-0-1 25-Iowa 8-4
  18. The guy is very underrated from what i heard of. He is going to suprise a few people next year and see some playing time. The coaching staff continues to find diamonds in a pile of coal. I am very happy with this pickup, regardless if he is rated a 2 o3 3 star by some recruiting services.
  19. The new tv monitor should also be working by that time, but i don't know if the will give it a test drive for the spring game or wait untill the football season kicks off to ahhh and ohhh the crowd. Should be interesting to see once its installed.
  20. No, i am talking about the actual recruiting dinner hosted by the University at the Holiday Inn.
  21. Kentucky is young..but still should be playing better then they have this year. They keep playing like this, they won't make the NCAA tourney.
  22. USC juniors Darnell Bing, Winston Justice and Fred Matua are expected to announce this weekend they will turn pro
