  1. Source? Link? I can't just can't believe Tom had Bo at one point, much less Bo have to capability to tell a joke that would cause the loss of composure on Osborne's part. I'm sorry but i just can't partake in this without a link and/or source.
  2. Carl makes 175,000 and year, seriously doubt he was living in his "little" brother's basement. I know it's rumorville, but this sh#t is getting a bit excessive.
  3. Probably hits thee nail on thee head, HOWEVER, he actually is verby atheletic, BUT it is quite possible that he just lacks the mental capacity to be a difference maker at any position.
  4. And yes i know, Tennessee still probably does not win the game regardless, but Peyton essentially had only one leg in that Orange Bowl as well.
  5. Hmm, they musta been watchin the Horn o-line in the big 12 game. oops, forgot.
  6. Hmm, they musta been watchin the Horn o-line in the big 12 game.
  7. There's some flashes of brilliance again there. Future looks good, just gonna test our patience with fans, same the Football team's offense. We know what's around the corner, a little .
  8. LEE WAS HURT, end of story. Let's just be proud that the team nor the coaches used it as an excuse and still found a way to win 10 games. Receivers not great, burkhead and Helu both hurt most of year, O-line-HURT and INEXPERIENCED (maybe throw poorly coached in there, but jury's still out on that), but i guess, it's still ALL the injured quarterback's fault. Let's just be patient and see what next year brings with a healthy Lee, admit lee-haters, when he had a throwing arm this year, he was pretty serviceable, funny how everything went to hell right after his injury happened that we didnt know about. I know it was against lower-tier defensive talent, but when you look that good against those kind of teams, you just dont look that bad against better competition overnight. Lee's most likely gonna get the starting nod, he has the experience, he is the senior, he'll be healthy and ready to go and there were flashed in the holiday bowl of even his running ability that he is more than ready to take the next step. In other words, Washington needs moved back to linebacker or somewhere, his athleticism HAS to be on the field somehow.
  9. 4 point lead Big Red. Now i'm gonna preach. I know there's 16 minutes left and we have to finish, but this is why I'm a Doc fan and always have been, this team gives effort everynight. Anyone who secondguesses this team's wiilingness to play for him should be watching this game. They are a bunch of just-out-of-high-school freshman outplaying the best team in the nation now.
  10. Team's playin hard Ubel's lighting it up. You can definitely see the difference in a veteran team and a freshamn loaded team, but our guys are givin it all. Keep it up Red
  11. I want to nominate this for the dumbest post of 2010. Yeah, that one up there. Fact: During Watson's tenure as OC at Colorado from 2000-2005, they won the Big 12 North (4) times (2001, 02, 03, 05) and (1) Big 12 Championship (2001). Wins over ranked opponents while at CU: #2 Nebraska, #3 Texas, #12 KSU, #13 KSU, #20 UCLA, #24 CSU, #25 TAMU Not to mention he orchestrated a completely UNFORSEEN and to date the most dominating performance of a Nebraska defense to date. (I still puke everytime I think about it.
  12. With all do respect sir, i would like to take a picture of this post and put in the "FAIL" thread in the woodshed.
  13. This year the youth and inexperience to me is a logical excuse, tho there is no excuse for missed layups and free throws. Look, the team was competitive against Kansas, blew away an oklahoma team with 3 MickyD all-americans (hell, theyre goin thru the same thing we are but theyre supposed to have more talent) then sh#t its pants against K-State. For all we know theyll play like gangbusters in the next one. A seriuos case of inconsistency-inexperience's ugly nephew.
  14. The dismanteling of these ranked teams is almost Uconnish. Hmmm. Way to go ladies.
  15. I say good luck to Owa. We wanted him, and we STILL do. But let's think about that for a minute. If this kid was so concerned about distance from home bla bla bla, then this is for the best. Last thing we need is another homesicker pissen everything away to crawl back home chris williams and therefore wasting our time and a scholarship. Owa will probably have a decent career cuz he is that talented but i do agree with everyone else when i say, HE WILL NO WAY IN HELL EVER KNOW HIS TRUE POTENTIAL. By the way Neuheisal is a doosh.
  16. But wouldnt that just be a photo album
  17. IMO, we're witnessing history repeating itself right now in Lawrence, KS. Mangino wasn't KU's AD's choice. I think Gill made a horrible mistake becoming the pawn down there. While i see your point, Kansas doesnt have half as much to lose as Nebraska. They'll just go about business as usual, use football to get thru the fall until basketball starts in November, kinda backwards from here. Don't make the mistake of underestimating what Gill can do at KU. He took the worst team in Div I and made them MAC champions, not because they were better physically or more talented than the other team, but he made them believe they were. Leach was basically forced out at TT because his football program was outshining the basketball program. Or because he was a complete weirdo and the nation was more concerned about what he was gonna say next as opposed to the success he had brought to the program.
  18. look what happened to Freeman and Gabbert... being on the wrong side of the ball can have some consequence. maybe the comparison isnt the best, but the point is people we wanted who chose an inferior school get reminded why they should have been N! You might want to choose different players next time. Freeman is a starter in the NFL, and he signed a 5 year contract worth 26 million. Do you really think under Clownahan's watchful eye he'd be anywhere even remotely close to where he is now? While it's still a bit early, it appears Gabbert is going to be really good. With the way our offense if evolving, neither of these two QB's would be suited to run it. B U T...... How have they performed against Nebraska? That my friend is the point. Yes they are good, but...
  19. That's what my point was as well, not to mention an outright north title and literally shoulda won 11 games that year, one of them against that team that beat the national champions. 06 was a decent year, at least all 5 losses were competitive.
  20. Most of them believe that because of the over hype that centers around recruiting. We'll see it all again today as it is signing day, and espn u will picking the powerhouses for the next couple years, I remember last year it was Miami and UCLA were gonna be so damn good cuz they had awesome recruiting classes. hmm. Although Miami may turn out to be solid, UCLA never will amount to anything special.
  21. Hopefully we can get McCray back healthy next year and develop all the freshmen. We show potential, but no consistency. Right there, 100% correct, we know Doc is a decent coach from what he has done so far here, but this year is kinda of a reset with all the freshman. We're not a Kansas-like basketball programs that "reloads, not rebuilds" so this group will take some time. Have to admit that saturday night showed signs of brilliance. Oh yeah.
  22. Same story different verse, make layups, make free throws and we'd be right there. And the double technical on HankinsCole was the most biases bullsh#t call of the year to date. Hankinscole shoulda made it worth it and smashed that purple pu&&y into the ground.
  23. IMO, we're witnessing history repeating itself right now in Lawrence, KS. Mangino wasn't KU's AD's choice. I think Gill made a horrible mistake becoming the pawn down there. 24. MATT O'HANLON- This young man will be receiving substantial playing time for someone on Sunday in the near years.
