Watching the highlight on ESPN and Turner was freaking jacked after he caught the ball. Probably jumped 4 ft into the first person to him (don't know who). Great to see him get the TD, great way to start your scoring career.

Props to Smith today, 12 tackles including a couple in the open field for losses or no gains that could have been big plays for Sparty.

I'm with you on this, but Martinez got hit in the chin right under the face mask after he threw the ball. There was a lot of movement in the helmet, and that's why it was called.

On the first INT it looked like his arm got impeded some way that prevented any strength on the pass. You could see where he wanted to go with the ball, it just didn't happen. The 2nd was a bad throw, needs to be more towards the center of the field. The 3rd was a combo of a bad throw and a good play by Dennard. I'd call this a good game by Martinez regardless. He gashed the D for over 200 yards when the only player they had allowed previously was Miller. He had a great drive to end the game, and a win is a win, you have to win and I don't care how you get it.

Wish we had another Dennard on our team. Guys a stud.

Ticky Tack, but we got called on some PIs early in the game that was ticky tack too. I'd be furious if it happened against us, but they were calling DBs really tight all game.

Let's Review: Get Jamal Turner involved in the game somehow...someway. CHECK! As the kick returner would be a nice start. He has been back as Kick Returner along with Bell ever since Abdullah has been getting more and more carries. MSU kicked everything through the end-zone so we didn't have a return possibility.

You see the PI play not get called to. They were calling it really tight on our DBs. They were calling things really close all game.

It was a tough game for me, but GD I love this team. Every single player ever since the Ohio State game just does not quit. We're in for a tough game next week against PSU, but they don't have a run game as capable as MSU has with Bell. 3 games down, 3 to go.

You do realize we now have over 300 yards rushing against MSU. With both Martinez and Abdullah going over 100 yards. It's coming down to mistakes again. Are we ever going to clean those up. That Maher miss is looking really bad right now.

Gets pushed and momentum get a hold of him. F' the refs. There's been questionable calls that you could explain away as ticky tack, but that was absolute BS. If he looked like he was going for the tackle, call that foul. But he had both hands in the air, and looked like he was falling forward. Use some common sense.

Exactly. Called it all day against NU, but never against MSU I'm talking about the off hand around the receiver, that's the third time that technique has been called PI against us. But when a guy face guards against us, nothing.

They've called that all day, but they missed the one on MSU the previous drive.

Where's the PI on first down? Get that it's a short throw, but there was a face guard and he impeded Cotton in the catch attempt.

This is what I hate about the Husker fanbase. 1 bad offensive drive to start the 2nd half following a less then spectacular defensive drive and we're ready to pack it in. There's more than 8 minutes left in the 3rd quarter, and we're done with the game? Come on. And we just got a TO. Where's the PI refs.

First Half thoughts: It's an annoying game, clean up the play and we're up 14-7 or even 3.

Bell got lucky with that. Even though it was a giant flop by Adams.

Don't think that was a zone read, but a fake to Abdullah since we had done that play like 3 times. Martinez just kept it, Bell gets a spectacular block on the edge, and Martinez shows off his speed.

Don't know why we aren't doing some of the same things we did the last couple weeks on D. Maybe because we didn't have any problems with statue QBs in the past.
