  1. i guess i should've looked a little harder my bad.... but ya the ratings for those 2 are criminal
  2. video of the big ten ratings also quite funny reaction to Vandenbergs rating here http://forum.ea.com/eaforum/posts/list/7353354.page sorry if this is the wrong place for this didn't know where to post it
  3. We said the same thing. I love that we are getting a little flashy but not over the top i.e. Oregon, Oklahoma State, I just wish it was only the blackshirts that wore the blackshirts gloves but im beating a dead horse
  4. So if we put the Blackshirt gloves on them, would that make them Blackshirts? No it wouldn't no one is saying that giving all defenders the gloves makes them all blackshirts we're saying that it cheapens the tradition by letting all the defenders represent the blackshirts with the gloves ON THE FIELD without earning a real blackshirt. If you can't or don't want to see our opinion and actually stop and think about it instead of wanting to argue But the players don't wear blackshirts during games....... Right, and now that they have something that could distinguish them from the rest every defender gets to wear them. Why can't the non blackshirts wear the N gloves (which in my opinion are cooler anyway)

  6. I didn't call anyone stupid, or attack anyone's intelligence. Calm down. Again, the logo that you're talking about is a marketing tool. It represents the Blackshirts on merchandise, not on the field. On the field, the ONLY thing that represents the Blackshirts are the actual factual black jerseys in the pic I posted. But to show you that your premise is incorrect, you're saying that these are Huskers because they wear the N on the field: And that anyone wearing the N on the field is a Husker. To directly quote you, "...when you wear it on the field, you're a Husker. It's about ON THE FIELD." By that logic, these are also Huskers: These girls are "on the field," and they are wearing the N. But of course they're not Huskers, they're cheerleaders. Nobody thinks that because they are wearing an N tattoo (which the University sells licensing rights to, by the way), that they suddenly become Huskers. There is a huge difference between what the actual tradition is and what the University markets to make money. Technically those are HUSKER cheerleaders so in trying to prove a point you proved Brogans point. Just because they aren't football players doesn't mean they aren't huskers
  7. Clearly you do have a misconception. Every defender is issued gloves right now, and has been issued gloves for decades. Whether they choose to wear them or not is their option. Those gloves have nothing to do with whether that player is a Blackshirt or not. They're just gloves. These are gloves. Not Blackshirts. The fact that they have a marketing symbol on them doesn't mean the n00bs are Blackshirts any more than the fact that they have an Adidas logo on them makes them Adidas employees. Gloves have been around for decades?! Wow I thought they just came out. I like the gloves, im just saying the blackshirts should get the blackshirt ones and everyone else the N ones. It just seems a little off that the blackshirts finally get to be represented with on the field apparel and every defender gets to wear them
  8. I think there's a misconception here. This is a Blackshirt: This is a symbol licensed to market the Blackshirts: They are not the same thing. Any idiot with some money can purchase that symbol, and it doesn't make them a Blackshirt. You have to earn that plain, nondescript black jersey that the actual factual Blackshirts wear. Even if you go buy a knockoff version of that practice jersey, or if you find a former Blackshirt willing to sell his old jersey to you, you're not a Blackshirt. So I don't think there's any conflict with having that symbol on the gloves. It's just a marketing promotion, not the real deal. I don't think there is any misconception whether you like It or not this will have some effect on the nostalgia of getting a blackshirt when the 3rd string safety has the gloves and a false sense of entitlement
  9. I was wondering the same thing, hopefully its just the blackshirts
  10. You mean the long balls that were underthrown and Kyler had to slow down for? This isn't a Martinez bash im just agreeing that his long ball could use some work
  11. looks like woodhead and suh match up might happen
  12. Is Jason Phillips a qb guru? What's his specialty?
  13. The only question now is who get to be number two AA or AG?
  14. just wondering cause i'll be interested in seeing if ag gets 5 stars
  15. not to mention that martinez has been throwing the ball exceptionally well the last 2 games they will definitely be doing some head scratching...... i feel very comfortable in saying we have a complete offense right now
  16. cody green actually has better acceleration than taylor.... cody does hold the 10 yard dash record for qbs
  17. http://www.examiner.com/high-school-sports-in-riverside/local-legend-martinez-making-big-splash-at-nebraska
  18. how much stock can we put into what this guy says when he says that martinez has no fumbles? But i do love to see martinez getting such good hype
  19. you make a good point... but would it have been a game changer if the roles were reversed and we were the ones who lost a second?
  20. http://huskerextra.com/articles/2010/07/29/football/doc4c4f93cc6ea8b175212554.txt kinda gets under my skin a few things he says
  21. IIRC Restore the order was started before the colorado game in 2005. I think Callahan started it also
  22. In the heroin diaries there is a picture of nikki sixx wearing a husker shirt. Not to mention that he's dating Kat Von D
  23. I don't know what needs to be done with the OC position. BUT - there are plenty of other teams in the Big 12 that could probably complain about not having "the talent" on offense. Yet, those teams find a way to score (and not just fieldgoals either). You cannot tell me that Baylor, Kansas State, and Iowa State have more gifted athletes in their programs than we do. Nothing against those programs, each one of them put up more than a fight against us this year and Iowa State put us in our place. The numbers do not lie: TOTAL OFFENSE G Rush Pass Plays Yards Avg/P TD Yds/G ---------------------------------------------------------------- 1. No dout had Griffin not been injured this season they would have taken us in that category too. By the way, these numbers count all the fun we had pushing around the Sun Belt teams. That is all. That's pretty glaring. It'd be way more glaring if you just had conference statistics, because our Sunbelt blowouts are where we got the majority of our points and yards. Is this output what you're willing to put up with at Nebraska? As Carlfense pointed out: Did we have the worst players in the Big 12? No. That falls on the coaches. The Nebraska football program does not wait for one man. We're at a crossroads, and the program cannot afford to be taking even one step back, let alone so many that it kept us from a BCS bowl, a possible national championship game appearance, and a return to the national conversation. Yes, that is what our lack of offense cost us this year. Heads will roll, I assure you. This is just for the regular season conference games. If you count the non conference and the Big 12 Championship we averaged 317 yards per game and 24.5 points per game.... still pathetic link http://www.huskers.com/ViewArticle.dbml?SP...TCLID=204791510
