Rivals stats definitely are not exact measurables. It is tough to compare the two because one is a highly touted prospect while the other isn't.

I like him... looks like a very solid receiver with good hands and good speed. Should definitely be interesting to watch.

Im really pretty sure Cooper is not in already because there is no way Bo would let him visit FSU just "for the enjoyment of it". Bo has made that very clear that its black and white and your either in or out no middle ground. I am interested to see how this all unfolds with him because it would definitely be great to have him.

My gut is that we are out. When a kid says that it is a four horse race and then the jockey(stoops) jumps on a fifth horse and he says it is now a 5 horse race. That is not good!!! FSU has some serious rebuilding to do. NU is on the verge of greatness. The four schools listed before he went rogue can't really compare to us in terms of winning football games. I was having a hard time trying to figure out why we weren't getting a verbal from him. IL, ND, Arizona and Nebraska. A **** star DB that can be molded into a pro by Pelini? Didn't make sense to me. Only one of those schools is going to be able to get him ready for the next level. FSU is under a new coach and he some building to do. I say we move on to someone committed to Husker Nation!!! Well hang on now! I understand things may not be unfolding the way everyone would like it too BUT I still hold strong hope... we still have an in home with him. The other schools like Illinois and Arizona are definitely out. So that means this is technically a 3 horse race. When he goes to FSU it is not a gameday and personally I believe he is only checking out FSU because of his connection with Stoops but not so much for interest in the school. I personally believe we still have a decent shot. Should be very interesting though!

Someone on here yesterday claimed to work with a guy who accompanied Cooper on his visit to NU. He said that his coworker told him that Cooper was hosting NU in an in-home visit yesterday. As it turns out, this wasn't accurate. ND did an in-home and NU just did a phone call. Ok thank you for clearing that up I was very confused. I had read that too and was wondering why we were making such a big deal over a guy and a scholly we already thought we had.

Ok I must admit I am kinda confused! I thought an insider just posted yesterday that this guy was N but was probably going to just wait till signing day to announce. I thought he committed after the in home visit the other day?

Its also definitely got to help that we have Reeves in the ear of all the guys like Westerman right now in San Antonio. Huge positive considering there wont be too many other schools with committed guys talking to those same guys we are after!

Yes, a very good point and I completely agree. I also think it is huge for us to take another step after this year and be a BCS program when he steps on campus. It kind of sucks to say that we were one second away from saying that now. But, its key to show that constant progression to prove a Nebraska offer is an elite offer like USC and Texas.

Yea, Westerman would be a huge piece! I heard that Reeves and Moore were both talking to him to get him N. Can anyone clarify that? If so thats a great sign that they would want to be together. Westerman also traveled to Lincoln for that camp. So obviously there is some interest there on his part.
