  1. Don't tell me to settle down, the guy has tons of potential. I'm excited about what he brings to the table. Get over it.
  2. He looks like he can be the next Vince Young, but a more accurate thrower. He seems to really pin point the ball where he wants it to go. I'm very happy we didn't redshirt him. He is too good of a player to redshirt. I wouldn't be surprised if we saw him play in every game this season.
  3. About to beat the game, in the middle of the last chapter. Didn't play RE4 and actually haven't played Resident Evil since the nintendo 64 lol. But anyways, anyone play and beat this game yet? I was expecting it to be a lot more "dark" if you know what I mean. Zombies are too advanced and modernized in a way. Very graphic and fun, but didn't expect the game to be like this. Good Co-op game.
  4. 100% real. I drive by there through manhattan for work. Always makes me chuckle.
  5. I just became a huge fan of Brian Diaz! Tough break for Niemann.
  6. I want to see Will Henry emerge as a red zone threat. I like the potential of Bell and Kinnie. All around, this could turn out to be one of the better receiving corps we've had at Nebraska lately if you ask me. That is if they live up to the potential though.
  7. I have no problem with Green being moved up and wouldn't be mad if he doesn't redshirt. We want to win now and I think we will with Lee, but why not get Green in there some for games and have him ready to lead us to big things by next season. He will still have 3 years to start for us. Winning now means having the best guys ready to play even if they are freshman. Green sounds like a guy that is mentally ready for the game and very few true freshman QBs are like that.
  8. If Barry can provide the rush from the end spot we will be scary good. I look for Suh, Turner, and Allen to dominate this season...a lot of speed, athleticism, and brute force on the d-line.
  9. He was on his way to being a dominant LB in the NFL. This is definitely a bad setback. Hope for the best recovery.
  10. There is no possible way Penn and Silva both lose in the same night. I'm going with: Penn Silva - although if anyone can beat Silva, it would be Forrest Hendricks Grove Neer
  11. I bought mine used 2 years ago and it is one of the old models. Still alive and kicking. I would send it in, but I didn't buy it new and don't have a warranty. Guess I'll keep my hopes up that the towel trick works more than once.
  12. Anyone hear about this trick to fix their xbox 360 when the ring of death appears? I was about to head to the store last night and buy a new 360 when I was bored on youtube and saw the towel trick that I had heard about before? Wrapped my xbox up in towels and left it turned on for 20 min. Then let it cool back down for about a half hour. Ring of death gone and it works great now again. Not sure how long it will last, sounds like each xbox is different. Never believed it would work, but it saved me a couple hundred bucks...at least for now. Who else has tried this?? If you get the ring of death, don't throw your xbox out. Give this a try first at least.
  13. Didn't see that coming. I doubt they have much depth now behind Sharp. Does anyone remember that ridiculous statement Crawford made before last season. I think he guaranteed like 2000 yards rushing or something like that.
  14. Well I'm in career mode at light heavyweight. Won the title and have been defending it for quite some time. Career mode really makes you better at this game, but I am stuck trying to beat Thiago Silva. I knockout Rampage, Rashad Evans, Forrest Griffin, and all the other top guys but once I get to Silva it is impossible to win. I tear him up on the feet and so he will end up taking me down....or I will take him down and within seconds of on the ground...almost instantly, every friggin time the guy just rolls over into full mount on me. I'm pretty good at ground and pound and have never had this problem against any other fighter. Any advice would help. Its pissing me off really bad. He instantly and effortlessly gets into full mount. Its crap and I'm tired of it. Anyways, my rant is over...
  15. Punk ass or not, Hendo handed it to the Brit Bisping while representing team USA from this last season of Ultimate Fighter so can't complain there, it was a thing of beauty. I'd like to see GSP get beat though also, but he may have to move up a weight before that happens. GSP better hope not to fight Alves again anytime soon. If they fight again, GSP loses. Alves was flat out too strong for GSP. What are you smoking? GSP tore something in his upper leg I think and he was still overpowering Alves. 10 takedowns to none in the match favoring GSP and you think Alves is too strong? Please tell me this was a typo mixup...

  17. I hope this thread is locked soon and put to rest. Never got worked up over it and hope I have no reason to in the coming days. Hopefully it is all just a big rumor and thats what I think it is.
  18. Screw that man. Mir is such a punk. Always tries to be the good guy. He was in his hometown for crying out loud and got his world rocked. Then the crowd boos Lesnar so Lesnar freaks out and makes a fool of himself. Don't hate the player, hate the game. Lesnar was out of line, but how would you like to be booed after retaining the title in a bitter personal rivalry match. On a side note, it sure was a treat seeing Hendo knock out Bisping. That guy was knocked out for awhile! Lesner is a chump and the reason why the crowd was booing Lesner is because of the way Lesner has been acting for the past couple weeks talking all that trash. Mir isn't guilty too because he talk trash too but Lesner was the one who started the whole thing because he's still butt hurt about his loss from last year. Dude was a chump in WWE, couldn't handle it in the NFL tryouts and finally found something that he's decent at. I'm not taking anything away from Lesner in that loss but the dude is a chump and he proved it during his interview after the fight. Everytime when somebody questions him about steroids he freaks out and he either goes crazy or he storms off the set or both. On a side note I hope Fedor comes to the UFC after his fight with Affliction come Aug 1st which is his last fight on his contract and comes to the UFC to rough up Lesner. I won't argue with any of that, but I think he has a cool background. NCAA Div 1 Nat Champ then the wrestling gig, and trying out for the NFL and all. The thing is, he's not just decent, he's a wrecking machine and I think he will be champ for a long time. Fedor coming to UFC would be cool, you know Dana's up his ass all the time about it...To be honest I don't know if Fedor would be able to withstand Brock's fists. I know its the great Fedor and all, but standing them two side by side I just say no way can Fedor beat him...not that Fedor hasn't done it time after time already...It will certainly be one of the most hyped fights ever if they can get Fedor to step into the Octagon though.

  20. I tend to agree, although I think Zac has some big plays in store for us, by his own creation or playmaking ability. But I like to think Helu and Castille provide enough of an offense to beat most teams outside of Lee. We shall see.
