  1. Nah... Bench was always one of my worst lifts, and after years of a f#&%ed up neck and shoulders I've learned that form is way more important. But I'm also not a D1 athlete trying to get paid.
  2. That's cheating! He's not even getting a full extension.
  3. Dude was chucking it 50+ in high school and hitting guys in stride. All they got do is put one good move on and he'll get it there.
  4. How did you even find that company?
  5. ZIM is on a dead cat bounce bro!
  6. Odd that they're the only source reporting the incident at this time... Also, I didn't even realize the US embassy in Bagdad was also attacked with a mortor strike last month.
  7. This Houthi thing feels a bit 1984 to me. We're suddenly fighting this groups way over there somewhere across the sea, but we don't really know anything about them or why we hate them. We're just fighting them again because we're told they're bad now. I realize they are bad, have been attacking shipping, and have US/Israel destruction as their core tenants. It just struck a particular cord with me.
  8. Yeah, why didn't we or don't we turn of the spigot from illegal drugs out of Latin America?
  9. Because them stupid librards EVs are failing!!! The issue isn't EVs, it's that Hertz is still run by idiots and the majority of their EV fleet are Teslas. Tesla is also run by an idiot. Their cars are notoriously expensive to maintain and repair because papa Elon hasn't figured out how to make spair parts for service like a real OEM, and he will only let Tesla certified shops work on the vehicles. Also, Tesla quality is notoriously bad. They pulled out of the JD Powers survey a year or 2 ago because they were going to be dead last in initial quality. Hertz tried to corner a niche market for Tesla fanbois and it failed. It wasn't a smart business move to begin with, but it made for good publicity right out of bankruptcy with Tommy in the commercials. Bonus edit: I also forgot to mention that Tesla is, or is about to be, under investigation by NHTSA for failure of their front control arms and other suspension components. They issued recalls in China, but not the US, and the federal government wants to know why.
  10. How is she not being kicked out of Congress and brought up on revenge porn charges? This is absurd!
  11. If you really wanted to ding Biden on the energy sector then go after him for only allocating a measley $1.3B to upgrade infrastructure.
  12. It doesn't. It's just bad optics.
  13. One of these tweets is not like the other... This Simon guy doesn't seem too reliable just yet. I'm not sure how to work Twitter, but the first 3 or 4 posts I see in his feed are pretty hard right. The tweet with the Journal screen shot makes no mention of embezzlement. Also, looks the like claims of extra marital between these two is coming from team Trump, so let's see how that plays out.

  21. Aww political theater... Reminder: don't stick it in crazy and don't let crazy stick it in you!
  22. There's no way this flies. Trump's lawyers are twisting the current interpretation of presidential immunity into a pretzel. It's pretty commonly assumed (though it's never been ruled on that I know of) that a sitting president could not be tried until first impeached and convicted. I don't think anybody assumes that a former president couldn't be tried if he escaped a trial in congress. The only conceivable way I could see that happening is if they could some how successfully argue that the chargers relate to official duties of the office (foreign negotiations, signing legislation, etc.).
  23. I love that city, but most of the people there smell their own farts.
  24. Or a retirement account? Never owes the IRS money? Doesn't have a mortgage? His wife owns a business, but supposedly it must be an all cash business? How is this not a major ethics violation???
