  1. Oregon has been contacting him frequently
  2. Offered by Ohio State. Doesn't matter thou
  3. A&M has two four star RBs so we can cross them off the list.
  4. But both schools do like speed LSU just picked up their second four star RB. Don't think we will have to worry about them now.
  5. His brother is on 247, Jamie Burrow. He claims he's has offers from the likes of Bama and Ohio State. They just haven't been reported yet. Darlington took a while to get an offer, May I believe. Even thou he was well known by the staff. Staff always takes a shot at the high end QBs first.
  6. Good part is Bama and LSU don't typically take these small fast backs like this, and they both have bigger fish to fry.
  7. Sean Callahan took this photo today. Little on the small side iyam
  8. Darlington didn't get offered until spring. Stanton didn't get offered til June.
  9. That's just the thing, why is the summer before your senior year a late offer? It's not, and if guys like HP want to be little babies because we offered someone else first than they can go play somewhere else. We want men who want to be here.
  10. Upset to read today that Burrow said he hasn't been hearing from us but grew up rooting for us. Went on to say he hasn't been rooting for us as much anymore since we haven't been in contact with him. Hope we don't mess this up. Probably would have been a good idea to atleast keep in touch with a good legacy like him. Must feel good about Delton or someone.
  11. I guess I'll step up and go against the grain here. 247 is the best, by far when compared to rivals. It's free for 90 days right now. Do yourself a favor and try it for 90. Lots of people are coming over from rivals. I agree with whoever wrote that to knapp. However in the recruiting forum most the info comes from guys that have paid subs. The great part about Huskerboard is everyone combines info on one organized site from the big 3 recruiting sites. There are plenty of times I've found out about a recruit committing before its happened or before its been posted on twitter. That said twitter has killed the recruiting sites and there have been plenty of times twitter has announced things first. It's true that you will find out quickly anyway, in this day and age very quickly. But I like reading the interviews with recruits, and the type of poster is generally more intelligent on 247. You can also ask questions to the guys that go to practices and talk to the recruits. They are akways posting how the just exchanges txts with so and so recruit, here's what they said. Only reason this site heard it is becomes someone posts it. There is also a big difference in poster knowledge IMO. Everyone follows very closely and are generally more informed recruiting wise. The conversations are great with everyone respecting people's opinion (on 247). Huskerboard is very good in the regulars as well. Huskers illustrated is 247. Husker online is rivals. That changed a few years ago when the rivals co founder broke off and created 247 because rivals has spiraled. I don't subscribe to find out information first, you don't need to do that. The recruiting forum here would be pretty bleak if no one posted info they didn't see on the big 3 sites. The reason I like to post "some" info here or the "summary" is: A) I like this place, and B) others on here do it from other sites which makes it nice to get even more info from other places in one organized place, under the recruits name. Anyway anyone thinking about it, go try it for 90 days for free and see if you like it. You have to really like to follow recruiting IMO. There is alot of football talk, but the whole premise is recruiting, and if you don't follow recruiting its probably not worth the money to you. It's like 9 something a month. I'm sure those of you that laugh at paid site posters waste more money on other stupid crap than that.
  12. Although Newell said he squatted 705, and said he didn't want to go any higher cause he thought his knees were gonna blow out.
  13. HJax was thrown around quite a bit last night
  14. I say a 10% chance if we can get him to visit. Cox is allllllll Florida and will probably commit soon. We may be able to pull out a visit with Cox, but its gotta happen soon. He and Ivey are pretty close and it sounds like its their dream to play at Florida.
  15. seems like the system is the rankings and hype machine. he might be referring to underrated players that never get a chance. i really do not know what he is talking about. his talk about "the system" is pretty cryptic. so i am willing to concede he is blaming something other than himself. but i just feel bad for the young man because things did not work out for him and he never got to use his talent as he could have, even if the result was his own fault. it is just too bad to see. . He's still playing. He can get his fat ass in the gym and work harder to get another D1 scholarship but instead he's 345 fat and slow. Don't feel bad for him, he has another chance and it looks like to me like he's not doing a damn thing about it. Watch the film I posted above if anyone disagrees with my assessment. Very very slow off the snap, and looks every bit of 345. He tweets that he is looking or another school meaning he wants to go back up to BCS but it looks like he hasn't learned a thing from his mistake. Instead bitches about it on twitter.
  16. He's actually playing at a community college in AZ and is playing around 345 still wasting his potential. Here's his Hudl film. Just watch for the last person to get out of his stance on the DL. Mighty strong words for someone wasting his god given abilities.
  17. Bo watched him play for a quarter and a half and said he wanted him on his team.
  18. Alex will absolutely be on scholarship.
  19. hopefully this would make it easier for him to visit For anyone who isn't too familiar with Texas high school football, Guyer won its second consecutive state title in the second largest classification of schools last year. The DFW area move if anything helps NU's chances geographically speaking. Your right. Direct flight from Dallas and can be in Lincoln in a few hours.
