glad to know there are still husker fans out there. As much as I was upset and disappointed last week, I will stand by this team no matter what. I will wonder about our coaches and thier game plan, players faith in the team, and sometimes wonder where this team is heading towards but I will stand by this team. In short...Go Big Red!!

Seems like some huskers fans are losing faith....however it is warranted. I'm not the Cy from Iowa State....but I think I can write a little. I have heard of Prince Royce of the song Stand By Me....and Ben E King....by his words stand by me. I was upset by the game but I will always keep the faith, and stand by my team. Martinez isn't going to pass alot of yards this game because he won't have to. Heard, Abdulla, and Cross will do the work load. When the game gets out of hand....then Rex will do some mop up duty to get some playing time.......Then again, Martinez could throw alot....what do I know

Man this really sucks....I have seen ever schedule of the Big Ten and I can get every game except the UCLA game....I wonder if I can call Direct TV and upgrade for one weekend....LOL

I just recently changed to Direct TV and it's been a nice change! I only have the Choice package so I won't be able to see the UCLA game at home but there is a bar nearby so no skin off my teeth. Hopefully this is the only game on Fox

I'm 37 years old this November and wasn't born in this country. Adopted and rasied as a Husker fan. Joined the US Army in 1995, served 7 years and Veteran, seen alot of the world and then some. I can still see images when Osborne lost those bowl games. He changed his practice time during bowl games in the '90s. Osborne new how to adapt. Just like on the field, when he counter teams. Time is different now since social media is the norm. I can go to YouTube to find a husker video clip. The Era of Tom Osborne will always be different compared to Bo Pelini. But what I saw with my own eyes when going to Memorial Stadium was a class act Coach in Tom Osborne. Today I see Bo getting his troops ready for battle for the second year in the B1G. Different style of coaching....however I'm still very pleased. He is hard nose coach that needs to fire up this team. Ok....done with my rant....

However, I totally agree with the OP, you see....being a US Veteran and serving overseas, certain things I miss....Husker football was near the top. I do believe that Nebraska has the ability to beat any team. They will make mistakes and might fall behind but I expect the best out my team. Some call it arrogant....I call it pride for a team that I will loose faith. Yes, I will get mad if they make mistakes, but I will never expect the least....I expect the best of the young men that play this game. Being Adopted 34 years ago from El Salvador makes me appreciate this countrry more and find a grasp of something that I can call home. The Huskers gives me that feeling.....I do believe this Big Ten Team can win...even if you don't believe in your own team

Well, you non-huskers are of course welcome to join in stealing players of your choice....the OP " If you could steal a player from any other B1G team" I'm just curious which Tailback/I-Back you would would rather have Rex or Montee.....be honest? Very tough decision, both are great backs. I love both of their attitudes toward football, both are strong, big, fast backs (i consider any back that can run as many times as these guys do in the B1G as big backs). If I need to make a choice, I would go with Montee; all those touchdowns are hard to turn down. Edit: I think both are legit Heisman contenders this year too. Very Honest Pick......and at least you gave some love to Rex...He going to eat it up

Personally, I don't see USC up there that high but hey what do I know. I would love to see the SEC not winning a national championship again, but at what Co$t, the U$C team is a made up team.......it has been since O.J and Marcus Allen played there. But if I had to choose, I would take the USC team. Sick of hearing the almighty SEC teams being better than everyone else. Just me ranting....
