  1. Condolences @Guy Chamberlin. WCF are set. Nuggets Lakers. Time to finally slay the dragon.
  2. Golden State would be home for game 7 if they win tonight.
  3. I'm with you there. Rooting for a smaller market team in the Nuggets, I get super frustrated when one or two players can basically just decide they're out and just hold a team hostage until they go where they want to, and it completely changes the complexion of the league/conference. I thought it was ridiculous that Anthony Davis was able to force his way out and get traded to the only team he wanted to go, and the Lakers, despite making about every wrong decision they could, ended up with 2 superstars and won a bubble title. Basically because they are the Lakers and players want to wear purple and gold.
  4. Suns have just run into a bad matchup for them. I think the Nets were the worst team to make the playoffs this year.
  5. That was ridiculous. Hockey is a rare sport where you can get thoroughly dominated for 60 minutes, get a couple bounces of the puck, and you end up winning. Fun and infuriating.
  6. I think the Suns take the Nuggets in 6, and I think that will mean the Suns are coming out of the West. Which pains me.
  7. Booker is the only one that really irks me. I have historically liked the Suns. Loved the Barkely/Majerle teams and the Nash/Stoudamire clubs. I like Monty Williams. CP3 flops can get tiresome, but he's been a good-great player for a long time and plays both ends of the floor. Not really a Durant hater either. Something about Booker and how he only seems to jaw when his team is up 20 triggers the hell out of me, for some reason.
  8. I don’t see them winning it this year. They have essentially one good line, and that’s not gonna be enough to get it done. Kadri and Landy were huge in the playoffs last year for them, and neither of them are walking through that door.
  9. Saw Kobe once in Denver right around when the Vail sexual assault stuff came to light. He got booed heavily that night I remember, as I think he did in a lot of places for a few seasons.
  10. Philly vs Denver tonight. Everyone heated about who should win MVP. All except this guy…
  11. He played Sunday. Seems like you're going to be able to see him play on Wednesday.
  12. Are you offering this personally? I'm all for it if it improves the run game.
  13. Nice. I've got a BCCG 9 86 Jordan RC. I think I bought it like 15 years ago for a few hundred bucks. Seeing them on ebay for 10-15k right now.
  14. Should've gotten the Ricky Davis treatment.
  15. I didn't really see an argument you made. I did see your post start to fumble around with an oft-mentioned 'refute' of human-induced climate change. I've seen various forms of it over the years...'Mars has temperature fluctuations....must be all those Martians driving SUVs', etc. If these can be called arguments, they have been clearly addressed elsewhere and are easy to find if you were motivated to look for them. Which you are not. I think we have a climate change thread somewhere here, so I'll bring us back around to relevancy. The issue isn't that you don't understand science (you don't), nor is it that you don't know that you don't understand science (you don't)...it is, and will always be, that you do not care that you don't know what you don't know, and furthermore that you enthusiastically push a series of bullet points associated with seemingly those which you identify socially/politically. I understand the maze we can all find ourselves in where we really want to be correct, and really want those we despise to be incorrect. Once that becomes the game, there really is no useful discussion or argument, and any valid points that might be made are incidental.
  16. I think he's pretty recognized for how good he is. He's kind of an anomaly. He hasn't forced Portland's hand to trade him, even though no one, including most of their fans, would blame him at this point. Even his Dame Time celebration is pretty low key, never bothered me. Steph's 'Go to Sleep' on the other hand...
  17. There are guys that travel around as professional dunkers that can do incredible things, but would get wiped on a court with even division 1 college players. And1 tour is full of great high school and AAU players that will never sniff the NBA. McClung isn't really an anomaly. Was a dominant high school player and has some insane athletic ability. I imagine being barely 6'2 would cause issues not just defensively, but offensively in the NBA unless you had insane range or quickness. FIFY
  18. Shooting splits (fg%, 3pt%, ft%) Curry: 48/43/91 westbrook: 44/30/78 Night and day.
  19. Yeah. We’ll find out for sure. This is their best team ever, and winning a title is never easy. I’d like the nuggets to flip bones for Caruso. Give them 5 legit wing defenders to throw at Dallas, Memphis and Phoenix. Deadline is at 1 pm mountain time today.
  20. Yeah. I’m not sure how it should have gone down. It’s obviously a huge deal. Seems like they could have waited a minute for the game to be over. It was a bit cringey.
