  1. After seeing them play against K-St, he probably thinks that he can start right away.
  2. I doubt it. Our uniforms are iconic. The most we would do is wear all red or all white. But with TO at the helm and Bo running the day-to-day stuff, I don't see us wearing much different from our traditional colors for a long, long time. I doubt it too, just seeing VT and Boise with special unis just made me wonder if we would do that at any time.
  3. That was about as good as Va. Tech's uniforms. Question: If we are in a kickoff classic game, will we wear special uniforms for the game?
  4. http://www.gifbin.com/981768 Hey, I just picked it cause he's fast, the last name was just a coincidence.
  5. Every time it got started by the students the rest of the stadium would fail it up at some point. I also noticed it kept getting started and then something really interesting would happen on the field and people would pay attention again. The 'Wave' is for the people in the stands who could really care less about the game. It shouldn't work because fans should be more interested in the game than doing some lame cheer. Hell, it's not even a cheer. It's something to make people focus on crowd-watching than game-watching. In fact, it's probably the only reason the blue-hairs show up. It's their one chance to exercise for the month, put their book down, and sluggishly throw their arms up without standing up. The 'Wave' is a fail. You could say exactly that for many "cheers". We had waves going against the Oklahoma game when it was a nailbiter. We also do the wave during a timeout, and by the time play resumes, it dies out. So we're not really missing any part of the game.
  6. Well considering how last year was supposed to be your best season with all your senior talent, you didn't leave him with much to work with.
  7. Yeah it was and I think he was out there again on T-Mart's second or third TD too.
  8. Bingo. After his "i was always this good" answer, he paused and made a "oh crap" face. He has been shielded since he's been here, and it's his first time under the lights. Also, if you watched the Big 12 recap on FSN, they interviewed him and you could tell he was uncomfortable and gave 2-3 word answers for every question. One question they asked him was what he needed to work on and he said, "Reading defenses," and paused trying to think of something else to say but coming up blank. It was an awkward 3-5 seconds before the reporter asked him another question.
  9. Thanks for posting. The video really doesn't do anything for me. And I see what some meant when they said it was rushed. No wonder I missed it. Epoc's = WAAAAY Better Pretty much at any point during that you could start up Sirius and give every last person in Memorial goosebumps. Epoc, why couldn't you just fail a class so you could have stayed at Husker Vision this year, or for five years?
  10. I agree with Bo when he sees the week one game is always the most exciting game but also the one that makes you the most nervous, because you really have no idea what to expect. I look at what you are saying two ways though. We didn't know what they were going to do, but they also didn't know exactly what we were going to do. They might have spent a significant time defending the Wildcat yet we didn't run it once last night. To me, week one is a game you get under your belt and move on from. Don't take a lot from it. I think they were actually preparing for us thinking Zac was starting and were preparing for more of he offense we ran last year, the the power running game or the spread zone read w/ a slower qb and aerial attack. They probably weren't preparing Martinez to start let alone not having anybody on their team as fast as him.
  11. Yeah and not to mention his run that got called back because of a block in the back. That would have easily been his long for the game.
  12. They almost scored a TD (thanks to Gomes they didn't) that would have made it 28-17 in the 2nd quarter against the worst FBS team in the country for 2 years running. The problems were in the first half as well, not just the 2nd half. The two minute offense at the end of the 1st half was pathetic too. At least they were trying to go for the throat a little bit, with 3 passes (albeit incomplete) in a row. Actually it was 21-0 at halftime. That play would have made it 28-10 midway through the third.
  13. Yeah in the student section it is nearly impossible to hear anything. Of course, most of the time, we're screaming our heads off so I wouldn't be able to hear anything anyways. I agree that the Tunnel Walk video seemed really short.
  14. Yeah at the game I saw that it said Ole Miss was up 48-41 in the 6th quarter. I was only "Holy ***! Ole Miss and Jax St went into double OT." The next time I saw it it said that Jax st won and I just busted out laughing.
  15. In your five points above you make it seem very clear to me that your opinion is that we should go with TMart, but then in the next three paragraphs you tell us not to pick sides. You also state some things about Lee making it appear that you are blaming all of the offensive issues on him last year, but then proceed to say that people get all over him even though he played hurt. If you would have posted the bottom couple of paragraphs it would have been okay, but the first five points don't mirror what you said in the last three paragraphs. He's John Kerry
  16. Ricky is from omaha not colorado and went JUCO in one of the Dakotas i think south That means that Colorado was his only other scholarship offer.
  17. Why don't you learn to read. Read the whole thread, then comment. Don't reply till you do that. Then your post would be a lot more educated than this. The part about Lee getting slapped in the face has come from him not getting a chance to play fully healthy and prove what he can do in a game without Bo pulling the reins back. He played hurt all of last year and laid it all on the line for us, I do believe that he should be given an opportunity. But why don't you read back through the thread. It may get you back up to speed. Sorry, but this sounds like 5 year olds playing organized Tee-Ball. Nobody wins or loses, we all get a pretty participation award. I don't care if he sold his sister to a band of traveling gypsys in trade for a win. If he is not the best QB we have in the coaches eye's then the only opportunity he deserves is to get first choice of which bench he wants to sit on. This is big boy football, if his feelings are hurt maybe he should look into the Chess club. If he starts, great! Lee is our man! (but unless T-Mart goes MIA tomorrow he isn't) If he doesn't, O'well, better luck next time. I don't know, if you've seen his sister you might think twice.
  18. New members have a 3 month probationary period before they can win anything. That being said, I win. That being said, I win. New members have a 4 year probationary period before they can win anything. That being said, I win. You can't keep changing the rules. That being said, I win.
