Yeah thats the hard part if we want a full time ST coach the everyone wants to ignore. A couple coaches are gonna have to take on more than one position. Unless Frost wants to take on ST himself with help from Busch as an analyst.

What if we get Ruggiero for OC/QB and he calls plays, Davis for Oline/RB and give him the run game coordinator title. Then Busch or guy from UVA for ST.

Yeah I means it's Alabama so you can't ever count them out but anyone saying they saw that coming is a liar.

From what people are saying it seems at least a mil is on the table which is double his current salary for a university that is about to have way less money when OU and UT leave and are going to need to pay way more if they even want to keep Aranda. Him getting HC offers is a good point though. It would just depend if he wants to be head man or likes being OC. I don't think anyone was really holding out hope of getting Grimes, but if it's a money thing we can absolutely outbid Baylor, and that is the point I was making.

I do not think Baylor can match it. He gets 500k now and Aranda get 2.5 mil for HC. If we offered 1.5 mil there is no way there are gonna pay that much.

Baylor has 2 missed FGs and a muffed punt now. Grimes would feel right at home here

There has been a lot of smoke for Harrell for a while but why would we not be able to announce that one sooner. No matter what he is not staying at USC so I wouldnt see why it would need to be a secret still.

Yeah thats a good point that even if he comes in he can modify that offense to not have so much option. Honestly I have no idea what their plan at all is right now. They are being about as hush hush as I have ever seen a team during something like this. They are either really floundering or have something big locked up. I would think/hope if they were floundering we would hear reports of coaches that were offered and turned us down(outside of MJ), but nothing at all. Do we even have a report of a single OC they have actually met with?

If he even comes back for another year. This is one of the least hyped QB classes I can remember he should probably take his shot.

Mcall would be great and we should take any chance we can to upgrade anywhere we can but honestly if we are running the CCU offense I feel like Smothers could run that. I think it would be more important to evaluate the RB room and bring in a stud there if possible.

We were 3rd in the B1G in touchdowns per redzone trip this year. The teams that beat us were OSU with the same amount of trips with one more TD and Michigan had 6 more trips with 2 more TDs. That was not our issue this year.

I wouldn't mind Korn cuz that offense is nice I just have a feeling that what would work best is someone experienced to help Frost. We have seen at time in games that he can scheme around good B1G defenses but for whatever reason he can't put full games of that together. We already have a TE coach on staff and he is a good one.

So if people are reporting Mickey Joseph as WR coach that means we either don't have a RB coach or we are not getting a special teams coordinator?

Yards per point would be something that is heavily influenced by defenses ability to get turnovers and special teams both of which we are not good at.

I almost didn't read this cuz I thought it was sincere. f#&% taking the high road and f#&% them chickens. They are happy to slog out wins with boring football with a team full of gritty overachievers and never really accomplish anything. They will hang banners for a bowl game they didn't even attend. Their band members and fans will turn a great thing they do for kids into a social media weapon to try and burn other teams because they have nothing else. We have all the resources to become something they can't, and if Frost doesn't do it we will go after the next coach that will. And if that coach doesn't we will go after the next until we are back and they will be the same haters that go to the outback bowl sometimes.

Do we think it's like a certain time after joining that needs to pass before we are part of the B1G and stop getting one sided refs? Is there a kick back program we don't know about maybe?
