  1. He’s also a 4.0 student with aspirations to be a doctor. He and Buford are my favorite recruits so far.
  2. I am so proud to be a Nebraska fan. Nebraska always stuck it’s neck out to be different. They always strived to get in front and be innovative. I’m proud of our coaches, players, and administration for taking their stance and to do it so boldly. Go Big Red.

  3. It hurts to lose Francois. Gray wasn’t going to play at Nebraska.
  4. I am not calling him a starter. I am saying though that his talent might get him on the field somehow. Even if thats special teams. But I also mentioned three other guys who would be hard to keep off the field. But I do see what you're saying. Nebraska could certainly use more top shelf talent in this class right now.
  5. Buford, Ervin, Hardy, and possibly Kpai all could play some. Kpai is really really good.
  6. Great pickup and my favorite player of this class so far. An immediate contributor.
  7. He’s a smooth runner and makes everything look effortless. I really like his film. If he commits to us, he would be the best football player in this class so far. Just by the way he plays, he’s a football player first, who also happens to be very talented. That’s what you want.
  8. I think he can be incredibly productive in college and in the NFL, I just wouldn't put 5 stars next to his name. 5 stars essentially have no athletic or body flaws. I can see him struggling his first year, and needing time to develop or find the right spot. The BIG would be the toughest league for him to get adjusted to.
  9. Apparently a Nebraska vs Kentucky battle as it currently stands.
  10. I appreciate your kind words. He looks to be a 4.6-4.7 type runner. I don't see him as a box safety, because I don't think he has good enough hip flexibility for coverage at the next level. He is more of a runner hitter type. He has really short legs, and a choppy running style. If he puts on 20 lbs, he will look a lot like how Cory Cooper ran, which was awkward at best. I would put ten lbs on him and let his straight line speed make up for everything. He has to sink his hips though.
  11. Nothing has been confirmed but based on what I've gathered from coaches and recruiting people I know, OV's aren't happening for the 2021 class. I would say take it to the bank.

Flipping someone like Dickerson or (if he doesn't commit) Fedone might be impossible for us now.

Fidone if anything would mean it’s a even more of a lock lol

Dickerson is dead and gone though. Visits will still happen they just will be the here check this out on campus if you can afford it kinda thing

  12. A little bit. His neck suggests to me he's closer to being maxed out physically. He doesn't have the rangier body type where you can stack 15-20 lbs on him and it will only make him more explosive. His hips are tight, and he plays upright like a safety. He will get trucked in the BIG if he doesn't correct that. I do like that he has long arms and quick twitch but 5 stars seems like a stretch. He is a good prospect though. I would be happy to have him.
  13. I don't know why he even bothered to list all those schools. Nobody buys it and now that OV's are trending towards not happening, just say your top two and be done with it.
  14. I was on the Valdez hype train, but after watching Tavierre's tape, I will strongly reconsider. This dude would be a freak after a year or two in the weight room.
  15. Another situation where you want to tell the kid that these two programs can over-recruit you. You're not going to visit both, and Nebraska will not want you visiting Florida and then coming here. I think he is a good prospect but he's not good enough to just wait it out and insist on these visits like a Fidone could.
